Zhao Guangran, despite being busy in Japan, never forgets to call back every few days.
Besides asking about how Zhao Xuran and the rest are doing in the United States, he talks about his own achievements in Japan.
Zhao Xuran is not surprised at all by these things his brother always mentions during calls, and he goes through them routinely.
Of course, he doesn't forget to share Gong Ruini's recent good news with Zhao Guangran.
Before, Zhao Guangran would have been absolutely delighted by such great news, but for some reason, Zhao Xuran doesn't sense his happiness this time.
What's the problem? Isn't it said that things are going well on the Japan side and that it's basically in the final stages, just waiting to collect the money and return to the United States?
Zhao Guangran's response is that there's nothing wrong.
Of course, Zhao Xuran doesn't believe this answer, but since Zhao Guangran insists on saying so, he can only helplessly drop the matter.
