Neal Galan spoke gently, adding more of the dishes Melody Parker loves to eat and thoughtfully placing them in her bowl.
The elder was not convinced by Neal's explanation, "You rascal, what do you mean Grandpa doesn't have many hobbies? Can't I drink tea, play chess? Why, when you talk, it seems like Grandpa's just a foodie?!"
Neal continued to pile Melody's favorite dishes into her bowl while teasing the elder, "Grandpa, not bad, you even know the term 'foodie'."
The elder's eyes widened even more, "You rascal, if my granddaughter-in-law weren't here, I'd definitely not spare you."
By the time he finished talking, the small bowl in front of Melody was already filled with various dishes by Neal.
Melody looked at Neal, stopping him from putting more dishes into her bowl, "Neal, don't add anymore, I can't finish them."
Neal smiled tenderly, his brown eyes indulgently looking at Melody, "Okay, I'll add more when Melody finishes eating."
