William Moore chuckled softly, "There's nothing in this world that's not worth it. As long as you're willing, everything is worth it." He lifted his hand to gently stroke her hair, "I'm willing to do anything for you, Iris."
Tears suddenly fell from Iris Harris's eyes, her heart felt a sharp, inexplicable pain at that moment. He was so good to her, too good, so much so that she had no idea how to repay him.
"Go to sleep."
William Moore wiped away her tears, speaking warmly.
"Mm..."
Iris Harris glanced at him, nodded, "Xavier, you should rest early too. You've been busy all day."
"I will."
As he watched the door to Iris Harris's room gently close, William Moore finally withdrew his gaze.
