Iris Harris sat in the car, feeling William Moore's fingers gripping hers tightly, revealing his emotions.
"Iris..." William had just started speaking when his phone vibrated in his pocket. Upon seeing the caller ID, his face slightly darkened, and he pressed the answer button.
"For your good, you'd better deliver her back yourself. Otherwise, I don't know what I might do."
Brandan Hyde's voice slowly came through the phone, and Iris Harris, sitting to one side, changed her expression, looking at William with some panic.
William hung up the phone, gripping her hand tightly: "Don't be afraid."
Iris looked up towards the mountain road entrance, frowning: "William, maybe we should find another time to talk..."
William looked at her, and upon hearing this, his brows furrowed: "Iris, are you actually considering going back to him?"
