Sophia Sutton was particularly sensitive to that chilly gaze. She looked up at him, saw that he was staring at her, and asked somewhat puzzled, "What is it?"
"Let's go to the hospital." Alex Hawk looked at her, "I'll take you for a checkup."
Sophia Sutton was a bit surprised by his words, then smiled and said, "Forget it, no need to trouble you. I'll go by myself."
Unexpectedly, he showed some concern.
It seems this man isn't entirely heartless.
Yet Alex Hawk seemed particularly impatient, and with a somewhat unfriendly tone said, "I'll take you now."
"..." Sophia was slightly taken aback, stood up from the couch, and looked at Alex's somewhat grim face with some confusion, seemingly unsure of why he was upset.
"Fine, let's go." She shrugged indifferently, "I just didn't want to trouble you. It's just a checkup, I can manage on my own."
"..."
Alex looked at her innocent expression, his eyes flickering, not knowing what he was thinking, and simply turned around and left.
