Brandan Hyde's breath hitched slightly, then he feigned nonchalance and asked, "Is this a confession?"
Iris Harris lowered her gaze, "You can treat it as a confession."
"But I remember I was already determined to have nothing to do with you anymore."
Iris's eyes dimmed, "Then you can pretend you didn't hear it."
Brandan laughed softly and leaned over to kiss her lips, "How can you take it back so easily?"
Iris pressed her lips slightly, "Although I know there are still many things unresolved between us, I want to try to be together."
Brandan gazed into her face, "Try to be together? Are you doing me a favor?"
Iris lifted her eyes, her brow gently furrowed, and patiently explained, "I want to try to give us a chance."
"..."
"Also," she slowly lowered her eyes, "I've missed you a lot these days."
Perhaps distance made them understand their feelings, there was no doubt she missed him.
After this experience, she didn't want to escape her feelings anymore.
