Melody took a shower. When she came out, John Foster was still asleep, lying on the bed.
She glanced at him without making a sound, then lowered her head to pick up the clothes on the floor, putting them on piece by piece.
After getting dressed, she grabbed her phone and bag, and turned to head for the door.
Twisting the doorknob, Melody found it wouldn't turn. Her brows furrowed in disbelief, and she tried again forcefully.
Still wouldn't open.
Standing at the door for a while, she finally walked over to John's bedside and hurled her handbag at his head!
The man, with his eyes closed, swiftly raised his hand to block it, the bag fell onto the bed. Gnashing her teeth, Melody demanded, "Open the door!"
John smirked evilly, "Didn't I say I'd let you go as long as you came back to me?"
His tone was lazy, filled with a casualness after indulgence. Melody was genuinely infuriated, she shut her eyes and asked, "What do you take me for?"
"A money-free whore?"
