Melody's mind was spinning from his teasing. She opened her eyes and looked at the handsome face in front of her, her voice trembling: "Bastard, get off me!"
How did she ever fall for such a jerk?!
Melody felt like she must have been blind back then.
John stared at her for a moment and then suddenly smiled, leaning down to give her a kiss: "Melody, do you like the way I pretend? Alright, if you like it, I'll keep it up for you. Why don't you stay by my side, okay?"
"Then get off me!" Melody shouted angrily.
"No." John smiled faintly, "I won't get up unless you agree."
"..."
Melody took a deep breath and then lay on the ground, her expression turning blank.
She truly didn't want to keep entangling with him anymore.
It wasn't some guise of playing hard to get; she genuinely didn't want anything to do with him anymore.
She didn't know what John thought, but she really didn't want to encounter him again.
Melody turned her head, lying on the floor looking at the window.
