"My people investigated, and the person who drugged Melody wasn't John Foster." He showed her a piece of surveillance footage from the bar on his phone, where a young man sitting next to Melody sprinkled powder into her drink while she was talking to Ruby, "they weren't John's people. John was just there with friends and happened to run into Melody."
