Lady Hyde came over to look out the window with Charles Hyde, and when she saw Brandan's car slowly driving away, she casually said, "Brandan really likes Iris, there's nothing wrong with letting them be together."
Upon hearing this, Charles Hyde's eyebrows furrowed sharply.
He turned his head to look at his wife and asked with mild reproach, "Are you going to oppose me too?"
Lady Hyde couldn't help but laugh a little, "What's the connection with opposing? A forced melon isn't sweet, dear, if you keep this up with Brandan, the whole family will be unhappy."
Charles Hyde pursed his lips and glanced at Emily Dormer lying on the hospital bed, saying, "Emily almost sacrificed her life for Brandan, how could you, as her mother-in-law, say such a thing, wouldn't it hurt Emily deeply?"
Upon hearing this, Lady Hyde couldn't help but restrain her smile, she looked up at Emily Dormer and then sighed slowly.
