"Do you really want to laugh?" Tang Mubei scrutinized her for a moment and asked.
After he gave her the umbrella, she seemed to be holding back laughter. Was there something off about his appearance?
Qiu Ye coughed awkwardly, "Not really. Thanks for the umbrella, I should get going."
Qiu Ye opened the umbrella, turned around and was about to leave.
Tang Mubei called out to her, "Ye Zi, if you're free tomorrow, shall we have dinner together?"
He asked cautiously, unsure of the response.
Seeing him so tentative made Qiu Ye feel uncomfortable too.
But he was like this because of her.
A sense of guilt rose within her.
"How about this, if I'm free tomorrow, I'll call you. When are you free?"
Hearing that she would take the initiative to call him and ask him out for dinner, Tang Mubei felt indescribable excitement and joy.
He quickly replied, "I'm free all day tomorrow; I'll wait for your call."
Qiu Ye gave a faint smile, "Alright."
