Seeing she wasn't speaking, Yun Qi laughed again but didn't say anything, just kept an eye on her expressions.
The first ten minutes or so were fairly normal, but after the tenth minute, Ye Lingran's expression visibly tensed up. She was holding a popcorn but didn't eat it. Suddenly, during a particularly scary scene, a girl sitting next to her screamed, startling Ye Lingran, who shuddered and let her popcorn fly, grabbing Yun Qi's arm in fright. Turning to look at the girl who had already hidden in her boyfriend's embrace, she couldn't help but swallow nervously.
Was she making trouble for herself?
It was too hard.
Yun Qi noticed her unease, glanced at the popcorn flying past him, then at the delicate hand holding his arm, and couldn't help but laugh. He put down his coffee, held her hand, leaned over, and whispered, "Are you alright? If you're really scared, we can go out. It's still early, we can watch something else."
