Being yelled at like that, Mu Lezhu on the other end of the phone was stunned. This was the first time she had heard him speak so emotionally.
"Speak." Seeing that Mu Lezhu hadn't spoken, Lu Jingang frowned displeasedly and commanded in a stern voice.
"Yeah, I rear-ended someone." Mu Lezhu snapped back to reality and steadily answered his question.
"Is it serious?"
"Um... it's okay, just the car doesn't look too good."
"How about you?"
"Hmm?"
"Are you injured?" Lu Jingang never had much patience, and as he repeated the question, his tone was evidently impatient. He threw off the covers, stepped into his slippers, and walked towards the closet to get dressed and go out.
"Not too bad, just a cut on the ankle, some blood came out. The ambulance that just got here has already treated and disinfected it, and it's bandaged up. Nothing too major." Mu Lezhu looked down at her ankle wrapped with white gauze.
