Chapter 33 - The demon king generals

Far away, on the other side of the universe, the endless hordes of demons hailed the Demon King Atropus, the child of the great Demon King Merlin, the King of Death.

Atropus stood before his people, towering like a black star. The crowd roared in unison:

"This cosmos needs justice! Long live the Demon King Atropus!"

For Atropus was a being above the league of gods and demons—

the one who conquered death,

the slayer of countless enemies,

the walking apocalypse.

As the chants echoed, his terrifying aura surged. The very air cracked with divine energy. Such power was not mere pressure—it was the essence of existence itself. Gods, demons, and divine beasts possessed their own special energies, but Atropus's aura was something beyond all of them.

A single burst of it could erase an ordinary human from reality.

He spoke, his voice shaking the cosmos.

"Yes. The time for justice has come."

Meanwhile, in a distant realm, Ken had begun to master the Path of Clarity. After intense and relentless training with the Lord of Clarity, his mind had become sharper than steel. His thoughts flowed without confusion—perfect precision, perfect discipline.

Now he trained under the Lord of Focus, a being who demanded absolute concentration.

"Your observation must be sharper than existence itself," the Lord of Focus taught. "You must see what others cannot."

To test him, the Lord released the fastest insect in the universe—a divine fly faster than lightning. Ken had to track it, spot after spot, with unwavering focus.

Every mistake carried a brutal punishment:

He would be sent to survive half a day on the deadliest planet—

a world filled with monstrous creatures,

where his ring's power would be reduced to half.

Yet Ken endured. Again and again he failed, learned, and tried.

Again and again he faced that deadly planet.

Until finally—

he mastered focus.

On the other side of hell, the Demon King's seven generals gathered for the final council before the great war. The gigantic dark doors groaned open, releasing waves of sorrow and grief as Atropus entered the hall.

All kneeled.

"Great Demon King! Long live Atropus!"

General Adam stepped forward.

"My lord, I have gathered all the generals and the strongest warriors. We await your command to plan our final strategy."

The Seven Great Demon Generals stood behind him:

1. Adam, Demon of Darkness

2. Greed, the Devourer of All

3. Sorrow, the Weeper of Souls

4. Juster, Demon of Injustice

5. Draken, Demon of Devils and Dragons

6. Kailos, Demon of Inequality and Unclear Realities

7. Unsin, Demon of Obstacles and Unlikeness

Behind them stood the elite royal guards and the unstoppable hell army—

eighty thousand soldiers, loyal and ready for blood.

They discussed plans, strategies, formations.

They spoke of tactics and traps.

But in the end, Atropus rose from his throne and silenced them with a single wave of his aura.

"Plans are mere shadows," he said.

"The truth is simple. The gods will be erased the moment I step onto the battlefield."

He sat back on the throne, resting his head on one hand.

"Four days. That is all the time left before the war begins."

---

Far away, Ken completed the final trial of focus. His mind was now a perfect blade, ready for the battles ahead.

---

As Atropus sat on his throne in the depths of hell, a strange memory flashed through his mind—terrifying, ancient, and filled with unbearable suffering.

He clenched his fist.

"This is the last war," he whispered to himself.

"All suffering… all pain… will vanish from reality. Once and for all."
