Haruma's mother rose to her feet, drawing attention almost instantly. One by one, the crowd followed, soon, every eye across the field, from the stands to Toru and his team, was fixed on the principal.
Holding his smile, the principal spoke again,
"We've just received some news. The Japan Football Federation has released a brand-new advertisement."
A brief pause followed, just enough for curiosity to spread through the crowd of the Hanaka High.
"And we've been asked to watch it," The principal continued. "So we have it ready, it will be played here on the big screen. Give us a moment… and let's enjoy it together."
A ripple of anticipation moved through the field as every eye shifted toward the screen, the energy tightening once again, this time quieter, but no less intense.
The principal, Haruma's mother, Rukia, Toru, Masaru, Shino and every single person's eyes remained fixed on the screen.
The display flickered to life.
