[3rd POV]
While the DC universe was facing the growing ramifications of Wanda's bookstore and the things that she was selling there, the woman in question was in her shop. It was a new day, and she had only opened up shop a few minutes ago.
She had mostly been restocking the new books that she had finished writing over the evening of yesterday, and was now putting them out. It was around 50 new books that she was sure would get some attention, especially with how unique some of them were.
There was a few new fantasy books that involved new ideas that she had never seen before in the DC universe. Like the one where the main character is to take over the mantle of a Goddess, and has to go through trials and tribulations of being a God. It was far better than it sounded on paper.
There was ones involving combining science and Ki to a level similar to that of magitech. There was a LOT of sci fi books, and there was a few that she liked quite a bit.
She was fond of the book about space vampires, which was sort of like Vampire Diaries, but strangely good, like...really good. It wasn't the best thing in the world of course, but if she was to put it at a "Level" it was easily better than Twilight, and probably one of the better vampire stories she has read.
Speaking of Vampire Diaries, her first customers of the day were ones she had not had in a little while now.
"Hmm? Where have you lot been? I was expecting you to come back quite a while ago" Wanda said as she watched as Klaus and Elijah entered. The two of them ignored her words, but instead walked forwards with a serious look on their faces.
"Do you have any spells on cloaking? Cloaking that can keep anyone hidden, no matter how strong the one looking may be?" Elijah asked, as Wanda blinked several times before a look of realization formed.
'Ah it would seem that little Hope has been born. Interesting, I was expecting them to succeed in defending her with the new spells that I had shown them, but it would seem the fate of that world is actively working against them. Or perhaps nature itself? It is a tangle able force there afterall' Wanda thought, as she nodded.
"There are several books of that nature, Elijah. It all depends on what type of cloaking you want. Do you wish for cloaking through a spell or a ritual? Do you want the cloaking to be simply hiding her from sight and detection? Or do you want her to be so cloaked, so hidden, that it is done on a conceptual level?" Wanda asked, as their eyes widened slightly.
"How do you-" "I'm a deity, Klaus, knowing about the birth of your daughter is very easy for me. I am a little curious on how your daughter is in danger, considering the other spells and rituals that you have gained access to thanks to my store" Wanda cut him off, not directly asking her question, but making it clear she wanted to know.
"...The rituals and wards had indeed worked, but the problem with them is that they were stationary. Once we had left the safe space, the witches had attacked us, and had used that as their chance to steal away Hope. We have gotten her back, of course, but we have also decided that the best way to hide her away from harm, is to fake her death" Elijah explained, not bothering to hide the information.
Klaus grumbled at his brother telling her all of this, but did not complain more than that. He knew that there was no point in complaining when Wanda would have eventually known sooner or later anyways.
"Hmm, you should have used one of the wandering wards then" Wanda replied to the man who blinked in confusion.
"Wandering Wards?" Elijah muttered, eyebrows furrowed.
"Yes? The book you bought on wards has an advanced application of the wards, called "Wandering Wards". These wards are ones that are capable of moving alongside the one that you wish warded, and is always with them as long as it is provided with energy and not broken" Wanda said, raising an eyebrow at their confusion.
"I don't remember anything like that being in the book? What page was it on?" Klaus asked with a frown.
"Page 204, paragraph 3 is where it starts. It continues until the end of the book" Wanda replied, inwardly already having an idea of what had happened.
"But there was only 203 pages..." Elijah muttered to himself, his frown growing at the thought of missing that.
"Then it would seem that a witch has more than likely taken that part of the book for themselves, and spelled them so that it looks like they had not taken them" Wanda replied bluntly, understanding what had happened.
Hearing her words, their eyes widened as they both looked at one another, remembering a certain witch that REALLY doesn't like either of them, particularly Klaus.
A growl left Klaus "Davina!"
'...Well she is not the one I was going to point out, as that was the red head that worked with the ancestors. But Davina...is definitely more likely' Wanda thought, agreeing with Klaus's assumption that it was her.
She wondered how that would go.
She liked Davina, so she really hoped she did not get herself killed thanks to her grudge against the Mikaelsons. A grudge that had nearly ended with the death of a completely innocent baby.
She had a feeling that Davina was feeling awful about that particular piece of information. But she also had a feeling that that did not matter at all to the two very furious vampires in front of her. They both did not look pleased at all, and she had a feeling that if Davina was not killed as a result of this, she would suffer quite a lot.
"But as for the books regarding cloaking, they are the ones glowing silver at the moment. I'd suggest grabbing the one titled "Magic Cloaking and it's intricacies". It's a good read and has all the cloaking you'll need. Considering I don't think you need conceptual cloaking, not with the level of power the witches of your world tend to be around" Wanda said, ignoring their anger at the girl and instead pointed them towards doing what they had come here for.
Getting the books that could help keep Hope safe from those that wish to harm her, including people like their mother who was likely going to be returning soon if she had not already.
Hearing her words, the two of them shook out of their barely contained fury, and decided to do what they had come here for. They had the time to rage, but they also knew that doing so here was not a good idea, and would likely do nothing but annoy Wanda.
And neither of them could afford to piss off the woman that was helping their family so much, and was the reason why Hope was even alive at this point, and why she would and could continue to live even after this.
An entity that will continue to serve as a means to improve and strengthen themselves, and help them overcome any force or any foe that may come their way over the next few years.
Watching them walk off, Wanda smiled slightly. She had been expecting them to continue their rage, and wouldn't have particularly blamed them for it. But it would seem that they had a lot more self control than she had been expecting, and had keep themselves under control so as to not potentially anger her.
Smart.
She would not have actually gotten mad or anything of course, as it was truly difficult to make her mad. You had to go out of your way to make her angry, or do something genuinely stupid, or genuinely antagonistic to make her angry.
Basically, they were fine, even if they did not know that.
Wanda thought it was kind of amusing that they had come to that conclusion, but it did show that they were getting smarter with it. Instead of getting aggressive like Klaus had in their first meeting. She knew with all their interactions, that their family was going to be a great repeat customer, and would only continue to return to her shop.
Watching them continue to look over the books she had suggested, Wanda hummed with only one thought on her mind.
'I wonder when they'll let me meet little Hope?'
