What the heck...?
How did Gray turn into Sister Morgan...?
Alvin's expression remained frozen for a few seconds before it slowly thawed, replaced by shock, confusion, and an overwhelming sense of disbelief.
He looked at the pair of eyes that were looking down at him from above, and even then he still felt that it was quite unreal.
So, after all this, the person secretly watching him was Morgan le Fay?
In fact, when the system issued its warning, Alvin had considered several suspects.
He knew plenty of people at the Clock Tower.
Reines as the culprit wouldn't have been surprising... Gray was also a possibility.
Even if Aozaki Touko had been the mysterious third party, Alvin wouldn't have batted an eye.
But... holy crap, Morgan le Fay?!
Why was she at the Clock Tower...? And appearing as Gray, no less.
"Why are you at the Clock Tower? Where's Gray?"
Alvin asked instinctively.
He tried his best to stay calm, but his emotions were clearly still reeling from the shock, and the weight and softness of the woman pinning him down made it impossible to think clearly.
Morgan gave him a sidelong glance and snorted coldly. "Who do you think flows through this girl's veins? Temporarily inhabiting her body is a trivial matter of magecraft for me."
"And... Manaka Sajyou hasn't returned to her own world yet, so where do you think I, another transmigrator, would be?"
That made sense, but even "inhabiting" someone's body should require some degree of compatibility, right?
Aside from their similar appearances, what kind of "compatibility" did Morgan and Gray share?
"Where's Gray now?"
Alvin asked in a low voice.
"I used a little trick to put her to sleep. Don't worry, I know you don't want your identity exposed at the Clock Tower, so I have no intention of making a scene."
Morgan said with a sly smile.
"So... it'd be best if you reined in your magical energy right now, don't you think?"
She could tell at a glance that the White Dragon's Core was subtly active within Alvin's body, and she gently reminded him. "You don't want your identity exposed at the Clock Tower, do you?"
Alvin remained silent, thinking to himself that her words carried a strong NTR vibe.
Still, he quietly suppressed the White Dragon's Core that had been subtly active, then looked up at the woman before him.
The cold, delicate demeanor in her eyes was gone, replaced by a bewitching allure in her deep blue gaze as she looked at the boy with interest.
"It seems the Clock Tower... or rather, certain people here, are quite important to you."
Morgan said with a playful smile.
She knew Alvin wasn't the type to let himself be manipulated.
His willingness to hold back now was largely because he didn't want his White Dragon identity exposed... and deeper still, it was clearly tied to certain important people in his life.
Alvin gave a helpless look and said. "The reason you chose to approach me as 'Gray' is because you don't want your own identity exposed either, right?"
Morgan replied coolly.
"Whether my identity is exposed or not doesn't matter to me. I'm only hiding it for your sake."
She wasn't lying.
For someone like Morgan to go out of her way to conceal her identity, it was indeed largely for Alvin's sake.
After all, this woman was a "divine-era magus," one of the most exceptional of her kind.
Even in the modern world, where magical energy was scarce, her mastery of divine-era magecraft was nothing short of a dimensional strike against modern magi.
Alvin gazed into her eyes and said softly. "I'm sorry..."
Her sudden apology caught Morgan off guard, a flicker of confusion in her beautiful eyes.
Her sharp, stunning face, illuminated by the warm light, was flawless and smooth as porcelain.
The black cloak concealed her graceful, alluring figure, but the hem revealed a glimpse of pale, tender skin on her thigh.
"Why are you apologizing?"
Morgan asked as Alvin looked at the silver-haired beauty pinning him down and sighed lightly. "During the Holy Grail War, I chose Manaka twice... You're probably still mad at me, aren't you?"
Morgan fell silent, her gaze toward Alvin growing increasingly dangerous.
The British witch was indeed angry... and not the kind that could be easily soothed.
In the past, when Alvin chose his sister over her, it was understandable, after all, Artoria was his wife, and Morgan had been the one to come between them.
But what was Manaka Sajyou?
Though Alvin was Manaka's Servant during the Holy Grail War, and Morgan could understand his reasoning... understanding didn't mean she wasn't irritated.
That irritation hadn't faded after the war ended; in fact, it had only grown stronger after her fight with Manaka Sajyou.
So, Alvin chose her, and she got to be the victor of the Holy Grail War... while my sister and I were just there to make up the numbers in Fuyuki?
Morgan had always been an exceptionally beautiful but supremely arrogant and sharp-tongued woman.
In her entire life, the only person she ever admitted defeat to was Artoria.
Manaka Sajyou?
She was just a girl without the capacity to match her, someone whose "heart" was worth less than a fraction of Morgan's.
So what if she was connected to the Root?
In terms of feminine charm, hadn't she effortlessly outshone the girl?
Yet... Alvin had chosen Manaka over her.
"Did you change your taste? Or is it because a lowly insect like you feels inferior in my presence, so you settled for second best, picking some random girl to satisfy your perverse fetishes?"
After a brief silence, her tone was icy.
As expected, the King's Sister is hung up on what happened during the Holy Grail War.
Good thing Lily isn't here, or I'd be done for... Alvin's heart tightened.
While relieved, he couldn't help but feel a trace of worry.
He was relieved that only the Morgan was at the Clock Tower right now... but his worry stemmed from the fact that returning to ancient Britain was only a matter of time.
Once he was back in the royal palace, who knew what he'd have to face?
Alvin shook his head and said.
"During the Holy Grail War, as long as it didn't cross any lines, I'd naturally choose my Master without hesitation... After all, if I had abandoned Manaka back then, you wouldn't have been happy either, would you?"
He thought his explanation would suffice, but to his surprise, a seductive glint flashed in Morgan's beautiful eyes, her voice laced with a thrilling allure. "So you're saying... you didn't have any feelings for your Master in this Holy Grail War, for Manaka Sajyou, and you only chose her because of the Master-Servant contract?"
'Though that's what I meant, saying it so bluntly feels a bit off...'
To be fair, Manaka Sajyou was indeed a young girl... and Alvin did have a preference for older women.
But after spending time with her, he found it hard to say he wasn't interested in her at all.
Who wouldn't like a girl, who only has eyes for you.
Although Manaka had a potential to be Yandere...but that only made him like her more.
After all, everything she did, was to be with him.
So, he found it quite impossible to say that he didn't like her.
"After being summoned by her, we went through a lot together... So my feelings for her are complicated, not something that can be explained by a Master-Servant relationship or anything else."
Alvin sighed softly.
Facing a woman as sharp and perceptive as Morgan, lying outright would be spotted instantly.
But if he answered with complete honesty... wouldn't that just trigger the Dark Room CG?
While he wanted to complete all his CG achievements, he wasn't eager to end up in a basement so soon.
"So, in the end, you were still drawn to that girl?"
Morgan narrowed her eyes, but soon a captivating smile bloomed on her face.
"Well, that's within my expectations... You've always been the kind of bad boy who falls for others easily."
"And bad boys deserve appropriate punishment."
Thump thump...
Her soft, melodious voice echoed in the room, and Alvin could almost hear his own heartbeat.
Looking at Morgan's enchanting smile, he suddenly had a very bad feeling.
...
That night.
"This will be your room from now on. If you need anything, feel free to come find me."
In a classic European-style building, a petite, adorable blonde girl in a student uniform stood at the door of her dorm room, facing the dormitory administrator.
Hearing the administrator's words, Manaka Sajyou nodded politely.
"I understand. If I need anything, I'll trouble you then."
At the Clock Tower, every word and action could reveal much.
Manaka Sajyou's refined, ladylike demeanor earned her a subtle nod of approval from the thirty-something administrator.
To join the Clock Tower as a transfer student, this girl clearly had something extraordinary about her.
After the administrator left, Manaka Sajyou pushed open the door.
She placed her belongings inside, closed the door, and then left the dormitory, heading toward Alvin's dorm.
Unbeknownst to her, as she departed, a head peeked out from the corner of the corridor.
Reines.
She watched Manaka Sajyou's retreating figure with suspicion, her brows furrowing slightly.
"As expected, something's off..."
She muttered under her breath.
Reines had just happened to see Manaka Sajyou reporting to the dorm.
Already curious about the transfer student, she found it odd that the girl would leave immediately after checking in.
As Manaka Sajyou's figure grew distant, Reines hesitated for a moment before quietly following her.
