Thaumiel-class.
Twin Gods.
The terms themselves carried weight.
For anyone familiar with the Foundation's classifications, Thaumiel-level SCPs were not ordinary anomalies. They were the crown jewels of containment, the kind of entities or tools so powerful that they could be used to neutralize or contain other anomalies. To put it simply: if the Foundation called something Thaumiel, it wasn't just dangerous—it was indispensable.
So when the screen flashed with this designation, the entire live broadcast room went silent. Then, a wave of realization swept through the viewers.
"Ah… so that's why James was suddenly transferred to the Foundation's Eastern Branch," one of the watchers muttered in the scrolling chat.
"They weren't just moving him around randomly. They were searching for a new Thaumiel-class SCP!"
And now the question was burning in everyone's mind—could Taotie, the ancient beast, really become the newest Thaumiel-class SCP?

S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters
Inside the command room, agents gathered in tense clusters, whispering heatedly. Natasha Romanoff, leaning against a desk with arms crossed, tilted her head toward Nick Fury.
"Boss, do you think Taotie can actually be classified as Thaumiel?" she asked, her sharp eyes narrowed in curiosity.
Before Fury could answer, Natasha continued with her own reasoning.
"Think about it. Taotie has always been bound by that 'Spell'—a single trigger and it can be subdued. That makes it controllable. And look at its abilities: it can devour entities in the air, even abstract concepts… and it once swallowed an entire moon! That's more than powerful—it's terrifying. But under control, that's exactly the kind of asset the Foundation craves."
Her voice had a rare edge of excitement.
But Nick Fury's reply was grim.
"Yes, it's powerful," he said, his voice low and deliberate. "But raw power isn't always an asset. Guns and artillery became dominant weapons because their destruction is limited and manageable. Nuclear weapons are powerful too—but do they inspire confidence, or fear?"
Natasha froze for a second, processing his point. "You mean… Taotie is more like a nuke than a rifle."
"That's right," Fury muttered. His one good eye drifted toward the feed on the screen, and his tone dropped even further. "Unchecked power breeds ambition. Ambition spreads like cancer. Even the O5 Council—the supposed watchmen of the world—aren't immune. Who can guarantee they'll always remain rational?"

James' Decision
As if on cue, James appeared on the broadcast. His expression was calm, but his words carried a weight that shook both the Foundation's supervisors and the watching Marvel world.
"I do not support reclassifying this entity as Thaumiel," James said coldly. "And I do not support using it to eliminate high-risk anomalies."
The room erupted.
The supervisor on the other end of the line looked stunned. The live-stream viewers went wild with disbelief.
"What? He doesn't agree?"
"That's insane! That thing could be our trump card!"
"Why waste something this useful? Even if it doesn't eat planets, we could let it devour memetic hazards or hostile anomalies!"
But others began to hesitate.
"Wait… the Foundation's motto is Secure, Contain, Protect, not Weaponize, Unleash, Destroy."
James' explanation silenced the room:
"The last man who tried to use a containment object as a weapon ended up as nothing more than a puppet, a tool others used to rewrite the world. And even if this subject seems mild… its very existence can cause catastrophic damage. Do not be fooled by its 'gentle' facade. The sighs, the complaints, the resignation—it could all be a disguise to make us lower our guard."
The words landed like thunder.
Across the world, viewers who once pitied Taotie suddenly felt icy sweat trickling down their backs.

Reactions Across the World
In S.H.I.E.L.D., Natasha clenched her fists, her face flushed with embarrassment and anger.
"Damn it! All this time I thought it was pitiful, controllable… but it was playing us!"
Nick Fury only sighed. "Don't underestimate the ancients. They went to great lengths to imprison Taotie, not out of malice, but because they feared what it could do. And don't forget—Taotie is the offspring of Yaldabaoth, the Supreme God of Flesh. That makes it his agent on Earth."
Natasha's expression hardened. "A god imprisoned for ages… of course it would go mad. The same applies to Taotie."
Meanwhile, James' warning echoed in the minds of every watcher.
---
The Six Descendants of Yaldabaoth
The supervisor eventually broke the silence. "Understood. But your mission is finished. While you worked in the East, our other doctors located the remaining four entities."
James' eyes sharpened. "And the results?"
"We've gathered complete information on the six descendants of Yaldabaoth."
A dossier appeared on screen. Its contents shook the Marvel world to the core:
SCP-CN-492, Dijiang – The embodiment of Chaos, sealed in an ocean trench. It has drifted in darkness since the dawn of the universe.
SCP-CN-500, Taotie – A mythical beast imprisoned in abnormal space, capable of devouring entities and even concepts.
But those were just the beginning.
Gonggong – Supreme divine entity of water. Once battled Emperor Jun for dominion, unleashing the Ten Suns Catastrophe and the Ancient Flood. His rampage destroyed civilizations, including the Abnormal Culture Group and the Night's Son Empire.
The entire world gawked.
Gonggong wasn't just a monster—he was a Supreme God.
At Stark Tower, Tony Stark nearly dropped his glass of scotch.
"Wait, what? Gods waging war in ancient times?!" he shouted, turning to Rhodey. "This isn't mythology. This is cosmic-level insanity!"
Rhodey just stared, speechless.
In S.H.I.E.L.D., Natasha muttered, "I thought the ones who sealed Chaos and Taotie were strong enough… but Gonggong was a god on a completely different level."
Nick Fury's temples throbbed. Ancient times hadn't been safer than now—they'd been far worse. Back then, wars weren't between armies, but between gods.
And Gonggong wasn't alone.
Zhu Rong – Supreme divine entity of fire. Unlike the others, Zhu Rong was said to be friendly to mortals. He fought alongside Emperor Jun against Gonggong, and after the legendary battle between Fuxi and Nuwa, he helped rebuild the universe.
The live chat exploded.
"A Supreme Being… friendly?!"
"This has to be a trick."
"No, wait—remember SCP-343? Even he coexists with humans at the Foundation!"
The revelation left everyone reeling. Natasha gaped at the screen, her emotions swinging wildly from betrayal by Taotie to disbelief at Zhu Rong's benevolence. Even Fury had to admit—if humanity survived those times, it was likely because not all supreme entities were hostile.

The Missing Two
But then came the twist.
The supervisor's voice grew hesitant.
"As for the other two—Qiongqi and Taowu—they have not yet appeared. Their identities remain unconfirmed."
James frowned. "So the dossier is incomplete."
"Even so," the supervisor replied firmly, "your mission is complete. Return at once. There's a larger problem."
Larger problem.
The words instantly caught the world's attention. If the supervisor of the O5 Council was calling it big trouble, then it had to be catastrophic.
James gave a single nod.
The screen went black.

Site-17
When it lit again, James was back at Site-17, where his journey had begun.
The cafeteria was just as he remembered—same clattering trays, same cheap beer. Only Lois was missing from the table.
"European town's gone to hell," Zyn explained between bites. "Abnormal surge. They sent a lot of field agents there."
James nodded, thoughtful.
Zyn leaned closer, curiosity gleaming in his eyes. "So, how was the Eastern Branch? I haven't been back in years."
James paused, recalling the sealed horrors he had witnessed—Chaos in the abyss, Taotie's prison, and the whispers of Gonggong and Zhu Rong.
Finally, he answered, his tone heavy. "Strong. Very strong."
He wasn't exaggerating. Even the global headquarters would struggle to contain a Supreme God. Yet the Eastern Branch held not one, but four of Yaldabaoth's descendants.
Before Zyn could respond, rapid footsteps echoed down the corridor.
James turned, and saw O5-10 herself stride into the cafeteria.
Her face was pale with urgency.
"We are in big trouble."
