Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 Reincarnation

Pain.

A searing, bone-deep agony gnawed at his soul, as if heaven and earth themselves were trying to erase his existence.

Then—

Silence.

The pain vanished. Warmth replaced it. Strange… he hadn't felt warmth in years. Not since that day.

Slowly, awareness returned. Sounds came next—soft wind brushing against cracked wooden walls, muffled laughter from outside, and… the faint scent of blood.

Ye Ling opened his eyes.

A rotting ceiling greeted him. Mold crept across wooden beams. The bed beneath him was hard and damp. Every breath hurt.

> Where… is this?

Then the memories hit him like a flood.

This was not his body. It was weaker, smaller, damaged. But the name… was the same.

Ye Ling.

Once, he was the terrifying Heaven's Executioner, a peak-stage cultivator feared across the Ten Thousand Realms. Betrayed by his own disciples, ambushed by his allies, and ultimately consumed by the Heavenly Tribulation meant to crown his ascension.

He died cursing the sky.

But now…

He lived again.

In the body of a seventeen-year-old trash from the declining Ye Clan. Born with shattered Qi veins. Mocked by servants. Abandoned by his father. Bullied by his own blood.

> Fate has a cruel sense of humor.

His lips curled into a bitter smile.

"Interesting…"

Suddenly—

Ding!

A mechanical, emotionless voice rang in his mind.

> [10,000-Fold Sign-In System initializing...]

Binding to host... complete.

Welcome, Ye Ling.

Today's Sign-In location: Ye Clan Outer Courtyard. Sign in now? [Y/N]

A system?

He had read of such things in ancient records—artifacts of primordial times, said to defy the laws of fate.

"Sign in," Ye Ling said calmly.

> Sign-In successful.

Reward: Qi Gathering Pill ×1.

Would you like to enhance this item 10,000-fold? [Y/N]

A flicker of interest crossed his gaze.

"A basic pill," he muttered. "Utter trash… but multiplied ten thousand times?"

> "Yes."

> Enhancement complete.

You have received: [Divine Origin Pill of the Primordial Dao].

Effect: Instantly repairs and evolves Qi veins to divine grade. Awakens innate bloodline. Establishes flawless cultivation foundation.

Ye Ling's pupils shrank slightly.

This… wasn't a treasure. It was a miracle.

He swallowed the pill without hesitation.

A moment later, he collapsed—his body convulsing, bones breaking and re-knitting, Qi veins tearing open and reforming, laced with pure light. His spirit howled as divine energy flooded him, washing away every impurity.

When it was over, he lay there—still, silent, and reborn.

The crippled boy was gone.

In his place stood a monster wearing his skin.

Ye Ling sat up slowly, clenching his fist.

Qi flowed.

Not just flowed—roared.

> Perfect meridians. Foundation established. Cultivation restored... and stronger than ever.

He rose from the bed, his eyes cold and sharp like twin blades.

> This world… cast me aside once. It will not do so again.

I will climb the path of heaven again. But this time… I will carve it with blood and fire.

Let the Ye Clan mock him.

Let the world forget him.

Because from this day forward—

He would remind them all.
