We were finally done practicing every time perfect in itself. Every song played fluently, changing songs didn't feel difficult at all. Tanishq sir had seen our practice and was quite impressed. In the second half that is after the lunch break the principal was coming to see our practice. Honestly, I can't believe we prepared so well in just a week. We have been missing classes for so many days I have no idea who will provide me with all the notes. If concepts were concerned I wouldn't be worried but I have to get my notebooks corrected. Huh! School can be so tiring sometimes.
I thought being in annual day would be boring and a complete waste of time but oddly enough it's not bad. Actually it's quite fun. I thought Aarush would be mean to me or something but he just ignores me or teases me in a friendly manner. I also enjoy the vibe of this group they are all quite friendly. Rare to find people like that.
"So guys there was this movie I was watching..."
All of them were talking like usual. Something tells me they are pretty good friends. The guys wouldn't stop talking about movies, animes, school teachers, high school gossip and what not. The group has all kinda people Manan being the silent one, Rudraksh is the over friendly guy who loses his temper pretty often, Siddhant is the teasing type the one always cracking jokes and well, Aarush is the talkitive type who never let's silence settle down.
Soon we started practicing. Just then we heard the door open. It was Vaishnavi, when she saw me she exclaimed.
"Oh hi! You never told me you were in the music team."
"It's my first time."
"Do you know her?"
"Yeah she's my neighbour. Our houses are in front of each other's."
"Anyways, guys our computer class is going on so don't play so loudly the teacher is unable to teach."
"Yeah okay, my fingers kinda hurts."
We still had two days left. As a result nobody was exactly serious.
"Do you have any update about the situation?" Rudraksh started teasing
"What situation?" Asked wide eyed Aarush
"Too bad you don't know and we are not telling you."
"Guys tell me already!"
"You always go off to somewhere or the other so it is quite simple to understand that you miss out on several things this being one of them.
"Shut up! Tell me!"
"Oh why should I?"
"Cause you are my assistant."
"You are never here, even the new member Chandni knows about it."
"She does and you are not telling me!"
"That's because you are not really important."
"Uh!"
Just then the lunch break bell rang. We weren't exactly following school timings we always brought our bags here as a result we eat whenever we felt like it. Knowing that the principal was coming to see our presentation just after the break we started practicing.
Soon the principal came. We performed in such a way that every note was perfect.
"Wow! You kids are doing well! Keep it up I want your best efforts on the stage." After saying this the principal left.
There was supposed to be a stayback for all the annual day participants but it has been cancelled for our team. The run through will take place the day after tomorrow. We will be getting our costumes tomorrow.

"Mummy I am home."
"How was your day."
"Nice."
"Chandni, will you go pick up Chandresh for me? One and a half hour later "
"Sure."
I dunno how but Chandresh is getting super involved in our lives. Sometimes when Mummy listens to him talk I feel kinda jealous like he is stealing my place or something. Why am I being so childish? I changed and had my meal afterwards which I started talking with big bro Kush. You see his classes were off for the day because of some test that was taking place in his college.
Vaishanvi's classes ended late just like Moksh's they have increased the school timings for eleventh graders. Poor them! As a result I will be picking Chandresh up. That naughty kid!
So I got to his class. Nursery - B was it? Yeah surely there he is sitting on the middle bench talking to a girl her age. Oh! Just look at all these adorable faces.
"Ma'am I am here to pick Chandresh up."
"Oh okay. Chandresh do you know her?"
"Yes she lives in the house that is in front of mine."
"Okay go then."
I came close to him and realised he has just started packing his bag. Just then the little girl yelled.
"Winnie the pooh is here!"
Oh she must be Siddhi. Curious to find out how Winnie the Pooh looks like.
"I am not Winnie the pooh!"
I turned as I found this voice quite familiar. Wait what! Is that Aarush!
His eyes too widened with shock as he just realised he had found me in one of the most unlikely place! For two minutes we just looked at each other as we tried to understand what was going on.
"Ma'am I am here to pick Priyanshi."
"Priyanshi do you know him?"
"Yes ma'am! He is Winnie the pooh!"
"No I am not that bear I am your elder brother."
"Huh! I don't care if I said you are Winnie the pooh then you are Winnie the pooh."
Wow! The sister totally matches the brother's vibe. Both have a lot of attitude in them but whatever. Wait! He has a brother who is in his twenties and a sister who is five! That's an insane age gap!
Chandresh was done and we finally walked out. Followed by the blonde and his sister.
"Take my bag?"
"Huh! Fine!"
Aarush turned and looked at me.
"Who is that? Your secret kid?"
"Of course not! He is my neighbour!"
"A neighbour, sure." He said with that irritating smug grin.
"Well, I never knew you were Winnie the pooh." I said giving him back his smug grin.
