'Guys I am going out.'
'Where are you going Chandni?'
'Just seeing some friends. Ofcourse it's a lie. I just wanted to wander out but knowing Janhavi she won't let me. Besides how am I supposed to tell her that I am going out breaking rules. So off I went. I know you are wandering what is our destination well it's a garden in our hotel. I have been waiting for this moment. How was I supposed to leave this beauty undiscovered!
The walk to the garden was rather short but I had to hide occasionally from the teachers but my sneaking skills made it a piece of cake. The garden was so beautiful with all sorts of flowers like lily, daisy, hibiscus, lavender and many. It was a full moon night and the sky looked beautiful. The whole garden was lit up by the night lily. The beauty I saw is something I could never find words for. The fireflies illuminate the whole place.This place somehow made my heart at peace. I started exploring the garden. Something caught me eyes. Something was shining brightly. In between the dark bushes I spotted something golden. I walked near it and then the realization hit me it was Aarush. That golden shining thing was his hair but what is he doing here? I mean it's not possible that he also sneaked out just like me to wander this place. Right! Right? He spotted me too and then our eyes meat. Both of us froze. We stood like we were statues. For some reason I did not broke our eye contact. I just kept staring and staring. Somehow he didn't either. I took small steps towards him and he did the same. His hair! His hair shines like sunlight! Sunlight that never wavers! Sunlight that is continuous! Sunlight which is emitted not reflected! His name surely does suit him! Aarush or the first ray of sun. He is just like Sunshine.
"What are you doing here!" I broke the silence.
"Just exploring the place!"
"This place is beautiful isn't it!"
"Yeah it is!"
"Never thought I would see you here!"
"Well I didn't either! I kinda got lost while exploring this place!"
"That's okay I know the way!"
"Let's stay here a little bit longer, the moon looks beautiful tonight."
"Yeah!"
"Hey Chandni do you ever wonder how the moon reflects the sunlight while making it softer. The sunlight coming directly from Sun is blinding but when the same light is reflected from the Moon it becomes so gentle and pleasing to eyes. It's funny how Moon changes the Sunlight."
"Well the Moon requires the Sun to illuminate and plants require Sun for Photosynthesis."
"That's true too."
"Aarush do you ever get lonely? Like you are surrounded by people but still you feel lonely or you just shut yourself from everyone?"
"Sometimes! What about you?"
"It's much less now!"
"What changed?"
"A lot that I can't explain."
"Hey do you ever fell imperfect?"
"Well yeah! Nobody is perfect. It's not something we could change all we can do is improve ourselves."
"You are right about that"
"Sometimes I wonder what am I even doing here?"
"Everyone does, nobody has all the answers."
"Well, let's keep looking then!"
"Ever wondered what's the point in living if one day we are all going to die."
"In this universe nothing is eternal. Everyone comes and goes. But what eternal is the memories we all make. All the joyous ones all the sad ones are what ties us here."
"Chandni are you proud in who you are?"
"I don't think I am proud of who I am right now but there is one thing I know I have come a long way and am going further. What I am proud of is my journey but I know it's still not enough."
"What's your goal!"
"I don't know that! Aarush! Though I thought you were a cocky person, an egoistic brat but now I know I judged you wrong."
"I am not egoistic or cocky and what changed your mindset?"
"It's just I really appreciate you helping my brother and well I am grateful for you giving me a chance to sing on stage and then making me a part of your group."
"I never made you a part of our group it was Siddhant who thought it would be fun including you."
"Hey is that me or"
"Yeah that's Raghav sir looks like he is on a round."
"So we are in trouble."
"You are his favorite student but I on the other hand is his target one, I am the one who is in real trouble."
"He is not a partial person so the two of us are in the same boat."
"What are we supposed to do!"
"Stop panicking and stay quiet!"
I grabbed his hand and started leading a safe way in between the bushes but it turns out I forgot to estimate his height and yeah his hair got stuck between the bushes.
"Aa.."
"Shu... quite he is gonna find us I will help you."
Honestly I am happy it wasn't the other way around cause if his hair which are much shorter than mine managed to get stuck so bad then my hair would've been on a war. Though it was a very difficult job but I somehow managed to get his hair out. Raghav sir was standing just beside where we were standing. I covered Aarush's face avoiding any voice which could have escaped his mouth because of the shock. For a moment I thought he saw us but he walked away. I started leading the way again instructing Aarush to keep his head a little down we managed to get out of the garden but barely and he was out of breath.
"That was a narrow escape!"
"My hair!"
"You looked good in that hairstyle Aarush you should get that permanently."
"It's cause of you!" I started laughing really hard.
"Honestly, this escape was fun. Don't you think?"
"Kind of! Bye!"
"Good night!"
