Carol slowly raised her hands high above her head, a massive surge of photon energy emanating from her body in waves. Her Binary form reactivated at full power, her long blonde hair flowing backward dramatically. Flames of brilliant photon energy quickly converged and concentrated on Carol's raised hands. Then, with a powerful thrust of her hands forward, two devastating photon blasts shot out simultaneously, aiming directly at Sebastian's position!
Seeing Carol's powerful attack approaching rapidly, Sebastian pointed his wand in front of him with precision, and a black sphere the size of a fingernail appeared before him, emitting a terrifying gravitational pull that distorted the space around it.
As Carol's two photon blasts approached Sebastian's location, they were disrupted and deflected by the gravitational interference of the black sphere, or rather, the tiny simulated black hole he had created. They immediately deflected and shot out to the sides at angles, passing harmlessly by Sebastian.
A circular black mark appeared between Sebastian's brows, the distinctive mark of gravitational authority granted by his mastery.
Sebastian raised his wand and waved it rhythmically like a skilled band conductor directing an orchestra. The gravity in the entire area immediately became chaotic and unpredictable. Carol, who had been previously suspended in mid-air with perfect control, was instantly tossed from side to side by the chaotic gravitational pulls in multiple directions, unable to maintain her balance or orientation.
Holding his wand firmly in his right hand, he continued to maintain the chaotic gravitational field's dynamics and fluctuations. His left hand slowly raised upward, drawing power from the Reality Stone within the Hogwarts Space Tower along an invisible energy channel that connected him to the stone. This continuously drew in the seawater below in massive quantities, gathering it all in Sebastian's palm.
After gathering an incalculable amount of seawater into a compressed mass, Sebastian casually tossed it forward. A gravitational pull acted on the fist-sized, nearly black ball of compressed water, sending it soaring directly towards Carol, who was struggling desperately against the chaotic gravity.
Carol knew the moment she saw the dark ball approaching her position, she knew something was terribly wrong.
But before she could react or defend herself, the ball suddenly exploded violently, sending thousands of times more seawater blasting out of it in a devastating explosion of compressed liquid. Each drop of seawater, fueled by the explosive blast, was no less powerful than a high-velocity bullet!
Boom!
Carol was blasted flying backward, an unknown distance away through the air. She repeatedly crashed into the sea surface, erupting with roaring explosions each time she impacted the water. Eventually, she shattered a vast expanse of coral reef and landed heavily on an uninhabited island.
Slowly climbing to her feet with difficulty, Carol was now in a state of extreme distress, battered and wounded all over her body. She wiped the blood from her nose and mouth with the back of her hand, then channeled her photon energy once more, ready to strike at Sebastian again with determination.
But at that moment, the uninhabited island suddenly shook violently beneath her feet. Black and red ether particles from the Reality Stone, seemingly emanating from the island at some unknown moment, transformed the entire island into a mass of malleable clay, continuously entangling Carol and enveloping her body.
Carol, of course, would not sit still and wait for death passively. However, no matter how hard she fired her photon blasts at the substance, they had absolutely no effect on the clay-like substance. Even if she created a massive rupture and hole in it, it would quickly heal itself back together.
"Damn it!"
Carol, once again transforming into her full Binary form with all her cosmic power, attempted to break free from the clay-like confines through sheer force.
But before she could move or escape, the clay encasing her suddenly hardened dramatically, transforming into an incredibly strong metal alloy, completely trapping Carol within like a prison.
Sebastian stared at the massive metal sphere suspended above the sea surface. He knew it could not possibly hold Carol in check forever, let alone maintain it indefinitely. So, while maintaining the massive sphere with his power, he gazed up at the cloudy sky above. His left hand steadied the sphere's position, and his right hand raised his wand high, pointing it toward the stormy sky.
Inside the sphere, Carol's body gradually curled up into a tighter position. Under the influence of the photon energy surrounding her body, the metal closest to her began to turn red hot and melt away, and naturally, Carol gradually regained her ability to move within the confined space.
Crack, crack, crack...
Starting from the inside, cracks stretched outward from the interior of the massive metal sphere in a spiderweb pattern.
The moment the first crack, stretching from the inside out, extended across the entire surface of the massive metal sphere, blinding photon energy shot out along the cracks like beams of light, sending the massive metal sphere shattering into countless pieces. Carol, shrouded in brilliant photon energy, gasped for air desperately, finally free from Sebastian's grasp.
Carol gritted her teeth with fury and set out to find Sebastian. She wanted revenge for this humiliation.
But before she could find him or even locate his position, a massive, almost white bolt of divine lightning descended from the stormy sky above, striking Carol directly with tremendous force. It shattered the photon energy shield surrounding her body and struck her physical body, severely injuring her and causing massive damage. She fell unconscious immediately, her long golden hair scorched black by the intense heat of the lightning. Like a piece of charcoal, she plummeted to the surface of the ocean, drifting beneath the waves unconscious.
Sebastian had not decided to kill Carol after all, as she was still his ally. So he extracted some of her photon power carefully and stored it in a magical container, intending to study it later for research purposes. Then, he opened a shimmering portal and tossed Carol's unconscious body through it gently.
Looking at Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanoff on the other side of the portal in what appeared to be the Avengers compound, Sebastian addressed them directly with a serious expression, "She is not dead. She will recover quickly with some rest and nutrients or something similar. Please tell her that if she is so rude to me again, I will kill her without hesitation!
Also, from now on, I am officially leaving the Avengers organization. If you need my help for personal reasons, I will be happy to help, as we are still friends. But if you are seeking help for the Avengers or S.H.I.E.L.D., do not bother contacting me. I will not be of any help to you."
Without waiting for Steve and the others to respond or say anything,
Sebastian turned around and Apparated back to Tony and the other Illuminati members. By then, Tony, Reed, and Black Bolt had emerged from the water and boarded the waiting helicopter again.
Tony, with a serious expression on his face, was talking to someone through his communication device.
Sebastian did not bother to interrupt Tony, but instead turned to Reed and asked, "How is Namor doing? Is he stable after the battle?"
"Namor has returned to Atlantis with Attuma as his prisoner, and he is stable emotionally... Also, I have something important I want to show you."
Reed took out a small monitor-like object from his pocket and placed it in front of Sebastian for examination.
Looking at it carefully, Sebastian looked at Reed with some confusion and asked, "Reed, what exactly is this device?"
"A highly technologically advanced surveillance system, boasting world-class technology that is extremely difficult to detect. I discovered it hidden on the sunken freighter at the bottom of the ocean. However, we currently have no idea who is secretly monitoring us or what their intentions are."
