Chapter 263 - Chapter 241: But… I Guess This Is Where My Journey Ends.

Non-Administered World #97, Star Rail Universe…

The dark-purple wall passed over Mahora City, swallowing buildings, streets, and everything else in its path before continuing toward the next city and beyond. Beneath the surface, the same corruption spread through the planet's leyline network, consuming what little remained untouched by Dormammu's life energy.

The only saving grace was the silence.

There were no civilians left to scream, no soldiers desperately trying to hold defensive lines, and no Alliance channels filled with frantic orders. Noah had already sent everyone away into the Mirror Dimension.

Only he remained on the dying world.

Noah raised one hand toward his chest. "Crowned Clown."

White light immediately surrounded him as the Sacred Gear manifested around his body. Threads of white, silver, and gold divine energy spread across him, forming the familiar hooded mantle while the masquerade-like mask settled beneath the cowl. Even the usually expressive Sacred Gear seemed unusually subdued as Noah knelt and pressed one palm against the corrupted ground.

"Connect me to the planetary core."

Crowned Clown responded at once. Light spread from Noah's hand into the pavement and soil before sinking deeper, passing through mana channels and into the countless leylines already corrupted by Dormammu's life energy. The Sacred Gear had always served as a master interface, something capable of connecting Noah directly to the metaphysical systems governing an entire world. Now he used that same authority to create a path between himself and the planet.

The moment the connection formed, Noah's entire body convulsed.

"GAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!"

Pain flooded through him all at once. It was nothing like the pain of a physical injury. This felt more like poison flowing through every part of his body, slowly eating away at him from the inside. Dormammu's corruption was not simply damaging the ley lines. It had spread into the spiritual and life foundations of the planet itself, and through Crowned Clown, Noah suddenly felt the suffering of oceans, forests, mountains, magical veins, underground systems, and countless other structures connected to Gaia.

Dormammu was no longer merely attacking the planet; he was trying to replace her. Everything within the world was slowly becoming fuel for his return, the planet itself transformed into the lifeblood that would eventually resurrect him.

Deep within that overwhelming corruption, Noah finally found Gaia's consciousness. Or rather, what remained of it. Her awareness was fading rapidly, barely coherent beneath the agony spreading throughout her existence. Every increase in the assimilation erased another part of her until the planetary consciousness could scarcely understand what was being done to her anymore.

Noah gritted his teeth and forced himself to endure. Crowned Clown immediately tried to reduce the synchronization before the pain overwhelmed him, but Noah forced the connection open again.

"No… don't disconnect me!"

Another surge of Gaia's suffering tore through his nervous system, drawing a muffled scream from him. Noah could feel Crowned Clown's concern through their connection, but he refused to let it break the link. If his plan was going to work, he needed this path between himself and Gaia to remain stable until the very end.

"…Just hold on," Noah murmured through shaking breaths. "I know it hurts. I know you're tired. But I need you to stay with me just a little longer."

He had no idea whether Gaia could still understand him, but he spoke anyway. Noah opened his other hand and called for the Divine Key that had accompanied him since the beginning of his journey.

"…VA."

Void Archives materialized beside him without its usual sarcastic greeting. Noah looked toward his oldest companion.

"…I need you to record something for me."

The Divine Key did not answer. Under different circumstances, Noah would have teased VA for suddenly discovering the value of silence, but he knew his companion far too well. The anger coming from the Divine Key was practically tangible. It was not hatred or irritation. It was the helpless fury of someone who had already understood exactly what Noah intended to do and knew there was no argument left capable of changing his mind.

"…Don't look at me like that." Noah managed a weak smile. "You don't even have eyes right now, and somehow I can still tell you're glaring at me."

Void Archives remained stubbornly silent.

"Yeah… I know." Noah gave him a small, tired smile.

A roar from farther down the street interrupted them as several corrupted creatures closed in on his position. Noah pushed himself upright and extended his right hand. Lightsaber Lux immediately flew into his grasp, its blade igniting as he turned toward the approaching enemies.

"VA… record everything from here."

[…Recording.]

"Thank you."

Left. Low. Then above.

The Force immediately warned him. The first corrupted creature went straight for his chest, but Noah stepped to the side, letting the claw pass beside him before he sent his Lightsaber Lux upwards and cut the creature from hip to shoulder.

The second monster descended from above, but Noah's free hand was already raised. The Force caught it in midair and slammed it into the street directly in front of two others, creating an opening that Noah crossed with one flowing horizontal slash that cut through all three.

As their bodies collapsed behind him, Noah continued toward the World Tree.

"First… Miss Himeko, March, Caelus, Dan Heng, Uncle Yang… and Pom-Pom. If you're hearing this later, I suppose the first thing I should say is that I'm sorry."

More corrupted creatures came out from the avenue ahead. A bolt of dark-purple energy came from Noah's right, but he angled Lightsaber Lux into its path and cut through the attack before Apparating through the resulting explosion with a sharp pop. He reappeared among the creatures responsible with his free hand already tracing a spell.

"Confringo."

The blasting curse detonated at point-blank range and scattered the creatures across the street. Noah came out from the explosion without slowing his pace.

"I know throwing everybody into another dimension without explaining myself was hasty, and I know I've probably caused all of you an unbelievable amount of trouble." A faint smile appeared on his face. "Especially March. I'm sure she already has an entire lecture prepared for me."

Three creatures rushed to him together. The Force revealed their movements before the attacks were even committed, giving Noah enough time to slip under the first one and swing his Lightsaber Lux toward the second. Instead of resisting the impact when its arms met his blade, he twisted with the force behind it, borrowing the creature's own momentum and carrying Lightsaber Lux straight through the first monster. His free hand caught the third with the Force and dragged it into the path of the second before Noah completed the rotation and cut through both.

Everything Phainon had taught him had eventually come together this way. The Force warned him where danger would appear, his family's Meteor Arts carried his body into the right position, and magic changed whatever part of the battlefield refused to cooperate. When the moment finally came to attack, his Absolute Blade Arts ended the fight.

"But… thank you," Noah continued, his expression softening. "Thank you for welcoming us onto your Express even though Sirin, Hayate, Rein, and I practically crashed into your lives. Thank you for Pandora, for helping us establish the Sol Federation, and for following us all the way here when this war became something none of us expected. You didn't owe us any of that, but you still came."

A massive corrupted creature smashed through a building ahead and planted itself directly between Noah and the World Tree. Noah stopped only long enough for Prana to gather around Lightsaber Lux as the monster charged.

"Absolute Blade Arts, First Form… Purple Lightning."

Noah became a streak of violet lightning. There was nothing complicated about the technique. Purple Lightning reduced the entire attack to a single thrust, but every trace of Prana Noah could spare was compressed into that one direction.

He crossed the distance instantly, Lightsaber Lux piercing through the creature's body before he reappeared on the opposite side and continued running. The monster remained standing for barely a second before its body disappeared into dark-purple flames.

"This might be discourteous, but I have one last selfish request. Please send Hayate and Sirin's Herrscher Core back to our universe. And when VA reaches you, send him back with them too. Our family deserves to have them home."

[Captain…]

"And yes, that includes you."

Another group of creatures leapt from the rooftops. Noah released a tired sigh without slowing. "No arguments."

His footwork changed immediately.

"Meteor Arts: Asura."

One Noah became three, then seven as afterimages spread across the street. Force enhancement and Meteor Arts gave each false position enough speed and movement to confuse the corrupted creatures, causing them to attack figures that had never truly existed.

The real Noah appeared between them.

"Absolute Blade Arts, Third Form… Shadowmoon Waltz."

He twisted into a rapid spinning attack, his Lightsaber Lux slashed through the creatures before he continued forward.

"Now… everyone back home." Noah's breathing had become shaky from exhaustion and Gaia's pain, but he kept moving. "Kii. Ellie. Lumi… and Sii."

His pace wavered when Sirin's name left his lips, but only for a single step.

"I'm sorry our expedition ended like this. We were supposed to come back together and complain about how another supposedly simple trip became completely ridiculous." A broken laugh escaped him. "Again."

Another massive creature appeared on the street ahead. Noah sensed it before the debris had finished rising and leapt into the air, twisting his body as his Lightsaber Lux cut through its neck. He landed behind the collapsing monster and immediately continued toward the World Tree.

"Kii… keep being the light you always wanted to become. Ellie, keep finding beautiful things even when everyone around you is too stubborn to notice them. Lumi, keep everybody moving whenever they forget which direction tomorrow is supposed to be." Noah's voice weakened as he reached the last name. "And Sii… I'm sorry I couldn't protect you."

His throat tightened, but he forced himself to continue.

"I know you'd probably tell me to stop apologizing. So… when you wake up again someday, you can yell at me yourself."

Noah wiped his face with his sleeve as another group descended from the rooftops. He accelerated with the Force and launched himself at the closest creatures, aligning himself with the first two before his Lightsaber Lux cut both in a single slash. His free hand immediately fired another spell toward the third.

"Gabby… I'm sorry I'm leaving Crowned Clown and everything we were supposed to build together in your hands again. You waited all those years believing there was something beyond what your Father left behind." Noah smiled faintly. "But please keep believing in that future."

A creature jumped from his right. The Force whispered the warning, and Noah tilted just enough for its claws to miss his shoulder before sending a diagonal cut.

"Hii… I know exactly what you're going to say when you see what I'm doing. Yes, this is probably an incredibly stupid use of Transcend. Yes, I'm probably violating several theories you spent months drilling into my head." His smile became a little more genuine. "You can tell me your complaints the next time we meet. Until then, keep finding answers the universe insists shouldn't exist."

A dark-purple projectile descended from above. Noah raised Lightsaber Lux and deflected it before thrusting his free hand toward the creature responsible and slamming it into the street with the Force.

"Non. Fii… I'm sorry our time together was cut short. Don't blame yourselves for what happened here. Hachan chose to protect me because that was the person she decided to be." His throat tightened again. "Rein did too. Please make sure Vita, Signum, Shamal, and Zafira know that as well."

His expression softened despite the pain he was receiving from the planet's will.

"And Teri… I'm sorry I won't be there when you execute our plan to kick that troublesome grandfather of yours. Also, please take care of yourself more. Bittermelon juice cannot be considered a meal, okay? Eat actual food too."

By the time his thoughts reached Team Reason, five stronger corrupted creatures came out from below the street ahead. Noah raised one hand without slowing his approach.

"Arresto Momentum."

All five were stopped in the middle of their charge. Stone, dust, and pieces of broken vehicles froze around them as Noah studied the suspended formation.

"Hajime."

His smile turned into a grin.

"Bombarda Maxima."

The avenue exploded around the creatures and launched them into the air. Noah was already below them before the smoke cleared, His Lightsaber Lux cutting through the first while his free hand Force-pulled the second toward him. He planted one foot against the falling creature's shoulder and used it to launch himself higher as a third monster came toward him.

"Absolute Blade Arts, Sixth Form… Crushing Fang."

Noah slammed the hilt of Lightsaber Lux into the creature's arm. Prana vibrated violently at the point of impact, sending cracks throughout the limb before it shattered apart. Noah kicked the creature away, twisted in midair, and threw his lightsaber. The Force caught Lightsaber Lux and spun it and cut through the remaining two enemies before returning the weapon to Noah's hand as he landed.

"You have a large enough family now to stop you from your brilliant ideas." Noah released a weak laugh. "Alice, Anis, Euphy, Sona, Sagiri, Lavinia, Ingvild… take care of my idiot brother for me. And Hajime, don't you dare use this as an excuse to rip apart three realities looking for me."

He imagined Hajime's answer before he even finished the sentence.

"…Actually, you're probably already planning that."

Void Archives produced something suspiciously close to a sigh.

"Still… keep building things, Hajime. That's always been your path. Whenever everyone else sees a wall, you're the one who starts wondering what ridiculous weapon, machine, or miracle you need to punch through it." Noah looked toward the increasingly close World Tree. "Keep building paths for everyone."

Another group entered the street ahead. Noah formed a magic circle in his left hand and released a blast that tore across the avenue and forced the creatures to stumble apart.

"Tobio. Sae. Natsume. Kouki. Shigune…"

He stepped between two charging enemies, deflected the first attack with his Lightsaber Lux, then Force-pulled the second monster directly into its path before cutting through both.

"Team Slash/Dog… thank you. You all joined this ridiculous family after already seeing exactly how dangerous following us could become, and somehow that still didn't scare any of you away." A faint smile returned. "Keep watching each other's backs. And somebody please make sure Natsume and Kouki can finish at least one mission without spending half of it arguing about Birdbrain and Sharkbrain."

Void Archives snorted.

"See? Even VA agrees." Noah laughed despite himself.

The laughter faded when the next names came to him.

"Hachi. Mei. Ruan Mei. Sora… and to your new additions, Tinasha and Zena."

The World Tree was already close enough for Noah to see its corrupted branches spreading over the surrounding streets.

"Team Ash Born."

Entire waves of corrupted creatures began converging on his position. Noah stopped in the middle of an intersection and lowered his stance.

"Absolute Blade Arts, Mist Form… Water Reflection Mirror."

Force and Prana spread around him. Ten Noahs appeared throughout the street, each carrying movement, presence, and intent while false currents carefully concealed the real one. The creatures hesitated only briefly before attacking.

They chose incorrectly.

Nine Noahs scattered through the intersection while the real one Apparated directly through the center. Claws tore through false bodies and dark-purple flames struck empty streets. One creature turned toward what it believed was another illusion, only to find Noah standing behind it. Lightsaber Lux pierced through its back before he pulled the blade free and continued forward, leaving the remaining creatures chasing phantoms that dissolved one after another.

"Hachi… I already know what you're going to think when you hear this, so I'm telling you now. Don't." Noah's expression hardened. "Don't start wondering what you should've done differently. Don't decide you should've been standing here instead of me. And absolutely do not follow my example because you decide sacrificing yourself is the easiest answer."

One of the monsters finally located the real Noah and unleashed a massive beam of Dark Dimension energy down the street. The Force warned him early enough to escape, but Noah stepped toward it instead.

"Protego Maxima."

Multiple barriers appeared in front of him. The first shattered immediately, the second cracked apart, and the third vanished under the pressure while Noah continued advancing. The final barrier broke just as the beam reached him.

His stance changed.

"Absolute Blade Arts, Fourth Form… Blazing Slash."

Lightsaber Lux met the edge of the incoming beam. Noah did not attempt to overpower it. Instead, Prana synchronized with the energy flowing against his blade while the Force guided the smallest possible change in direction. Noah turned his body, and the entire dark-purple beam curved away from him, tearing through the buildings on his left before disappearing into the distance.

"You're terrible enough about sacrificing yourself already, Hachi." A tired laugh escaped Noah as he resumed walking. "Mei, if he starts acting stupid when he hears this, hit him hard."

[…I will preserve that instruction with particular care,] Void Archives answered.

Noah blinked before laughing again. "Thanks, VA."

His expression softened.

"Sora-chan… keep watching your big brother. Ruan Mei, Tinasha, Zena… keep that family together. Team Ash Born was never supposed to become one person carrying everyone else." Noah glanced toward the corrupted horizon. "Don't let Hachi forget that."

Assimilation: Ninety-four percent.

Crowned Clown delivered the information directly into Noah's mind.

His body was beginning to slow. His Apparition covered shorter distances, his Force techniques carried less power, and the magic circles forming around his free hand required more effort to complete. Gaia's agony continued flowing through Crowned Clown and directly into his nervous system, but the discipline Phainon had trained into him remained.

A creature rushed from his right. Noah tilted his head just enough for its claws to pass beside his face before his Lightsaber Lux answered with a short upward cut. Another attacked from behind, but Noah did not turn. He reversed his grip and stabbed backward under his arm. When a third fired from above, Noah transfigured a collapsed streetlight into a wall that absorbed the blast before Force-throwing the remains straight through the attacker.

His movements were becoming slower and smaller because he no longer had enough strength to waste anything.

"A-chan… Itztli… I'm sorry." Noah continued toward the World Tree. "I told both of you I would come back."

His thoughts returned to Teyvat and to the strange promise that five hundred years would mean little once he finally returned for them.

"Looks like I'm going to break that promise." His lips trembled. "A-chan… keep causing trouble. It suits you."

His voice weakened when he continued.

"And Itztli… please don't spend the next five hundred years being angry at me."

A sad smile appeared on Noah's face.

"Actually… you probably would."

Assimilation: Ninety-seven percent.

Gaia's pain struck him so violently that his knees nearly gave out. Noah drove Lightsaber Lux into the pavement and used it for support as enormous portions of the planetary consciousness disappeared beneath Dormammu's corruption.

[Captain, sever the connection!] Void Archives demanded. [Your nervous system is beginning to mirror the damage being inflicted upon the planetary core!]

"...No."

[You can barely walk!]

"I said… no."

Noah forced himself upright.

The World Tree towered ahead, its corrupted branches spreading over the avenue while creatures gathered below it in numbers that would once have demanded his full attention. Yet instead of focusing on them, Noah's thoughts went to his home.

"Dad… Mom Miharu. Mom Aisha. Mom Liselotte. Mom Satsuki. Mom Celia…"

His voice nearly failed him.

"…I'm sorry."

A creature rushed him. Noah met its attack with the smallest possible parry, guiding the claw past his shoulder rather than attempting to stop its strength directly. He stepped inside its reach and cut through its neck.

"Dad… I'm sorry I won't be there to help with the family anymore. Mom Miharu, I'm sorry your troublesome eldest son kept making you worry all the way to the end." His voice softened as he continued walking. "Mom Aisha… thank you for making the house feel alive no matter how chaotic things became. Mom Lise, thank you for somehow keeping all of us organized whenever even Dad gave up trying."

Another attacker charged. Noah pulled its leading leg sideways with the Force, allowing the creature's own momentum to destroy its balance before his Lightsaber Lux pierced through the opening.

"Mom Satsuki… thank you for all the help you gave me during my training. It gave me the skill to reach where I am now." Noah smiled faintly. "Mom Celia… your magical education made me a second rate dante capable of casting spells. You truly are the greatest magic teacher in Asterisk."

His breathing became rougher with every second that passed.

"And to all five of you… thank you for treating every one of us as your children. It never mattered whose name happened to be beside ours on a family tree."

Noah took another painful step.

"Grandpa Caelus… thank you for teaching me that moving forward never meant leaving people behind."

His thoughts moved toward the women who had stood beside Caelus and helped shape the Alden family long before Noah's own journey began.

"Grandma Hotaru… I guess your Sun really did reach another impossible place." A bitter smile crossed Noah's lips. "I'm sorry I couldn't carry it home this time."

He forced himself onward.

"Grandma Mitsuki… please don't go Evernight on the entire universe after hearing this." A faint laugh escaped him. "I'm serious."

Another painful step carried him closer to the World Tree.

"Grandma Cassie… thank you for teaching us that knowing everything ends someday doesn't mean we should spend our lives afraid of reaching that ending."

Noah looked toward the enormous corrupted tree.

"And Grandma Robin… please keep singing for everyone. Our family is going to need something beautiful when this reaches them."

Assimilation: Ninety-nine percent.

Noah staggered, but only a short distance remained between him and the World Tree.

"Touya. Mahiru. Rena. Elfie. Hayato. Haruna. Karen. Ellen…"

He called out his siblings' names.

"You're all going to have to take care of everyone for me."

Noah wiped his eyes without stopping.

"Touya… you're the eldest brother now. Sorry. That probably sounds terrifying." A tired smile crossed his face. "Mahiru, keep everyone together. You've always been better at that than I was. Rena, Elfie, Hayato… try not to destroy the house."

He exhaled shakily.

"Haruna, Karen, Ellen… grow up properly, alright?"

His smile trembled as his gaze lowered toward the broken road.

"And all of you… don't remember me only for this."

The World Tree stood almost directly ahead now.

There were two names Noah had deliberately kept until the end.

"Masha…"

His footsteps slowed.

"Sylvie…"

Noah's voice trembled.

"I'm… sorry."

There was no joke this time, no teasing remark, and no attempt to make the words easier for himself.

"I promised I would come home." Noah briefly closed his eyes. "I really wanted to."

He could picture them waiting for him on Asterisk. Masha holding onto his arm. Sylvie smiling beside her.

"I wanted to see the two of you again. I wanted to listen to Sylvie sing. I wanted Masha to complain whenever I forgot something obvious." Tears flowed freely down his cheeks. "I… wanted more time."

The last group of corrupted beings moved between Noah and the World Tree. He looked at them through blurred eyes.

"But… I guess this is where my journey ends."

Noah lowered his center of gravity as the Alden Crest glowed weakly on his skin. The Force opened around his senses, and the enemies ahead stopped appearing as individual monsters. Every body became movement, every movement divided into choices, and every choice revealed another route through the formation.

Normally Noah would have searched for a path around them. But now he only saw one straight through.

"Meteor Arts: Asura."

Seven Noahs erupted forward, immediately scattering the creatures' attention as the false bodies spread throughout the formation. The real Noah entered through the opening created between them.

The first wave was destroyed by a storm of connected slashes as Noah passed through before their bodies could fall. A massive corrupted knight immediately filled the path ahead, crossing both arms over its chest as crystalline armor thickened across its body.

Noah changed forms without breaking his run.

"First Form… PURPLE LIGHTNING!"

Every trace of momentum compressed into one step and one thrust. Lightsaber Lux pierced through the knight's crystalline armor and erupted from its back as the protection surrounding it exploded outward.

A dark-purple spear descended from the World Tree before Noah had even completed the technique. He broke his stance and twisted.

"Fourth Form… Blazing Slash!"

Lightsaber Lux met the attack along its edge. Noah synchronized with the incoming energy and redirected it, sending the corrupted spear tearing sideways through the remaining creatures instead of himself.

The final stretch opened.

Several massive branches suddenly dropped from the World Tree and wove themselves into a dense corrupted barrier, but Noah did not slow.

"Sixth Form… Crushing Fang!"

Lightsaber Lux struck the first branch. Prana detonated through the point of contact, producing violent vibrations that raced through the interconnected structure. Cracks spread from branch to branch until the entire barrier shattered apart.

Noah ran through the opening. There was no audience left. No Alliance communication channels. No friends shouting his name or demanding that he turn back. Only Gaia's pain and fading consciousness remained with him.

At last, Noah reached the trunk. Deep within it was the dark-purple shard Voldemort had buried there, the fragment that had started the planetary assimilation.

Noah dropped his Lightsaber Lux onto the ground and pressed both hands against the World Tree. Dark-purple flames immediately wrapped around his arms and attempted to crawl into his body, but he ignored them and pushed deeper until his fingers closed around the shard.

"Got you!" Noah pulled his arm.

The World Tree shook violently as the shard resisted him. Its influence had spread so deeply into the planetary network that removing it felt like tearing something directly from the world itself. Noah screamed and pulled harder, forcing every remaining bit of strength into his arms until a violent crack finally tore through the trunk.

"GAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!"

Then the shard came free. Noah stumbled backward with the dark-purple fragment clenched tightly in his hand as the World Tree convulsed and the entire planet shook beneath him.

Then Crowned Clown delivered its final warning.

Assimilation: One hundred percent.

The last untouched fragment of Gaia vanished. At that very moment, Noah felt absolutely nothing through the connection. Then something else filled the emptiness: Dormammu. The assimilation was complete. Gaia's consciousness had been forcefully overwritten by Dormammu's own existence.

Noah lowered his eyes toward Void Archives.

[Captain.] Void Archive's voice trembled.

"...VA." Noah smiled weakly.

[Do not say it.]

"Thank… you."

[Captain…]

"For everything."

Noah gently closed his fingers around the First Divine Key.

"You were my first companion. Before the crew. Before the Express. Before any of this."

Void Archives trembled within his hand.

"So make sure you get home."

Before VA could answer, Noah called upon the last stable thread of his Trailblaze Authority and sent the Divine Key away.

The Golden Cube vanished from his palm, and now Noah was truly alone. He looked toward the dark-purple shard still clenched in his other hand, then slowly raised his eyes toward the corrupted world around him.

There was finally an endpoint.

"Trailblaze…"

Silver light appeared around Noah. One path spread outward from him and passed through the completely assimilated planet, while another ended within Noah himself. He had used this application before, first upon Dormammu and the landmass he had destroyed during their battle in the Dimensional Gap.

Now he would use it on himself and an entire world.

The origin was Non-Administered World #97.

Its current state: Corrupted. Assimilated. Dormammu.

The endpoint was Noah Alden.

His current state: Exhausted. Injured. Uncorrupted.

"There is only one thing I need to do next." Noah stared at the silver pathways connecting the two.

Silver Rails spread across the planet before curving back toward Noah, joining origin and endpoint through a single path. Crowned Clown had already established the connection between Noah and the planetary core, giving his Trailblaze Authority the route it needed.

One corrupted world.

One uncorrupted traveler.

Two endpoints carrying opposite states, connected by a single journey.

"Trailblaze Application…" Noah closed his eyes and smiled through his tears as the silver light wrapped him as the path completed itself. "…Exchange the States of the Endpoints."

The Trailblaze Authority answered in a blinding flash of light.
