Chapter 182 - Long time no see

Chapter 182 - Long time no see

"Who is it?" Rias and Sona asked, their expressions serious. Akeno also assumed a fighting stance.

The sudden appearance of this figure left them uncertain whether he was friend or foe.

Most critically, the aura radiating from him was overwhelming.

Compared to him, even Kokabiel seemed slightly inferior.

As the smoke and dust settled, the figure's appearance became clear to everyone.

He was clad in silver white armor, his head fully covered by a helmet, concealing his face.

Blue gemstones on key parts of the armor emitted a cool light.

On his back spread a pair of light wings glowing with faint blue radiance.

"The White Dragon Emperor," Sona said, instantly identifying him.

"One of the Two Heavenly Dragons, has actually appeared?" the group murmured, still reeling from the shock of the God's death, only to be confronted by another major figure.

"Was he drawn here by Roy?" they wondered, their gazes shifting between the figure and Roy, suspecting his arrival was tied to the Red Dragon Emperor.

"This is the strongest White Dragon Emperor," Rias said, observing him closely, a hint of worry in her eyes.

Like Roy, he had achieved Balance Breaker, meaning the two might be evenly matched.

The outcome of a clash between them was uncertain.

After all, the history between the Red Dragon Emperor and the White Dragon Emperor showed they were fated rivals.

"Vali!" Kokabiel growled, staring at the figure with scarlet eyes.

Now, he was absolutely certain he had been played like a clown.

Under normal circumstances, Vali should be in the underworld.

Even rushing to Kuoh Town would take time, not happen this quickly.

Yet Vali arrived at Kuoh Academy shortly after his battle with Roy began.

This likely meant Vali was already near Kuoh Town, waiting for Kokabiel to cause trouble before stepping in to resolve it.

"Looks like I'm a step too late," Vali said, looking down at Kokabiel with a hint of mockery. "I didn't expect you to be beaten this badly."

"Did Azazel send you?" Kokabiel demanded, his face contorted with anger.

"Azazel ordered me to bring you back," Vali replied calmly.

"Even if I die here, I won't go back with you!" Kokabiel roared.

"Oh?" Vali said, his tone tinged with curiosity.

"I don't know what kind of shock you've had here, but my task is to bring you back, not to cater to Azazel's public image."

"Whether you're willing or not is irrelevant."

"Vali, do you think you can take me away so easily?" Kokabiel sneered. "You'd have to ask if your fated rival agrees."

"After all, my life is in the Red Dragon Emperor's hands now."

Kokabiel's gaze shifted past Vali to Roy, standing not far away.

Roy had deactivated tempest and berserk, as maintaining both skills drained stamina. Killing a defeated Kokabiel didn't require such effort.

"So, the Red Dragon Emperor did this to you?" Vali asked, his interest piqued, though his expression remained hidden behind the helmet.

He turned to Roy and said, "I'm here to take this wayward fool back."

Roy frowned and replied, "And what can you offer me? You heard him, Kokabiel's life is mine to take."

"I'm only here to retrieve Kokabiel," Vali said calmly. "If you want a fight, now's not the time. I don't want to deal with Azazel's punishment."

"Vali, don't dream. You're no match for the Red Dragon Emperor!" Kokabiel taunted.

"I can't ignore that," Vali said, his voice growing colder.

As the strongest White Dragon Emperor, certified by Azazel himself, Vali had immense confidence.

Yet Kokabiel claimed he was inferior to the current Red Dragon Emperor.

"The red one doesn't even show up when I arrive. Are you planning to ignore me?" a muffled voice echoed from Vali's armor.

"Long time no see, Albion," a green light flashed on Roy's right hand.

"Vali, who do you think caused my injuries?" Kokabiel sneered.

"Is it that hard?" Vali said softly.

With his strength, tearing Kokabiel apart would be effortless.

"Indeed, it's not hard," Kokabiel laughed mockingly, his tone grating on Vali. "Killing me in your current state is easy, but what if you didn't have Divine Dividing?"

"What do you mean?" Vali asked, frowning.

"This guy didn't even use the Boosted Gear and still beat me head on like this," Kokabiel said bluntly.

"What!" Vali's aura surged slightly, laced with surprise.

He had assumed Kokabiel's miserable state was due to Roy using Balance Breaker.

Perhaps Roy had lifted Balance Breaker after defeating him.

But to think Roy hadn't used his Longinus at all, relying solely on his own power to crush Kokabiel.

Most strikingly, Roy was unscathed.

Even for Vali, defeating a cadre class fallen angel of near satan class strength without injury, and without using his Longinus, would be challenging.
