Chapter 93 - The candy prince chapter 93 part 6

As Augustus was running through the walkway to the castle his mind could only be plagued by thoughts of what had truly happened in the place he called his home at one time.

It was at this moment that he had truly realized just how far it had truly gone just how far the damage had truly been done.

He stood there right in front of the castle.

Right in front of the massive amount of fire that it was. All of it light on fire and left borderline barely even intact.

With rubble all around him he coud only notice the closer he got to it this was only the beginning of what had happened to the castle this was only the entyrance.

Seeing the dead bodies of the guards as they were ripped apart and their organs showing all over the ground Augustus could almost not hold back how he truly felt.

All his feelings being dragged to the surface because of the situation being folded beneath his eyes.

Tears began to stream down his eyes once again but once again he could only wipe them away knowing the truth and disregarding his feelings was the correct thing to do at this time.

He decided to push foward he had to push foward afterall he needed to see the truth of the castle he needed to see what had truly happened with the entrance in flames and completely burnt and rubble all around it.

He could only go further inside to see what else had happened.

He kept walking foward and eventually he arrived to a staircase with a red carpet and the carpet was a bright pure red color perhaps showing just how truly magical and powerful the castle of the king was but it was clearly not enough to stop whatever had happened.

Augustus kept pushing foward going through the burned building as the top of the castle was completely gone entirely as you could look up and see the bright beautiful stars in the sky time now.

It was a beautiful sight and if Augustus wasnt in the set of circumstances that he was in perhaps he wouldve been able to appreciate it more.

In front of him though was something more revolutionary then the stars in the sky it was someone alive.

He walked closer as he saw the girl laying down wearing a princess costume it seemed like in all pink.

Who was this? That was the most prominent questiomn that was going through Augustus mind until he recognized a memory that he had been hiding in the back of his mind for the longest time.

This was his sister.

The sister he had been seperated from, from birth this was his twin sister.

How could he not remember something like this? Somethign this severe it just didnt make any sense at all there had to be an awnser afterall to his questions somebody had to have the awnser to this there was no way there wasnt right?

Thats when it hit him his father would know.

Though before he could do anything else thats when he came to the realization she was dying.

There was blood leaking out of the dress there was a massive gash wound all over it so Augustus knew in his mind just what it was he knew the truth of the situation.

She wouldnt have much time yet here he was a woman he forgot about his whole life right in front of him.

With her beauty so enchanting him not even able to recognize her to him it only made him that much saddened more.

He knew as he clutched onto her in her final moments with the fire burning all around them and the rubble forming that they would only have moments left.

With her opening her eyes for one last time.

Looking directly into Augustus eyes and making it seem like a final goodbye with her hand on his face she could only feel the love from her brother for a split second before the light in her eyes gave out.

Here she was his sister now dead in his arms with her lifeless pulse all over him.

The body of a dead loved one in his arms he could only wonder how it could get worse as he gently set her body down on the ground and closed her eye lids.

He had to move on he had to push on to find out the awnsers as to what happened to his father and now why he never knew his sister.

He kept going foward till he eventually reached a room and when he opened the door he saw his brothers corpse impaled on a spear.

There was no sign of life there was nothing showing that he could even move at all there was no sign of life.

It was futile to even try and look for any Augustus knew the truth.

Seeing the blood all over the spear as he saw his brothers corpse around the spear with his organs ruptured open and all over the ground and his blood leaking everywhere and anywhere.

Augustus couldnt even stand the sight as he closed the door and realized he needed to move on he needed to keep going.

That was until he eventually reached the room after walking for what felt like for hours with the bright stars in the sky and the stench of blood and ash filled the air.

Seeing the bright moon and moonlight luminisce over the scenery was an insane feeling like no other that he had rarely experienced before even.

He kept going he kept walking foward till he he reached the entrance.

The entrance to the throne room.

The room that he had never even visited a single time in his whole life even though his father was the king of the castle and probably the land Augustus just didnt know it or not it was an insane feeling.

Augustus took one more deep brreath before he began to open up the doors.

The heavy dark colored metal of probably a grey blue ish color it created a certain sense of coldness.

Something that he had penty of experience with something he knew about again and again.

It was the feeling that he was most familiar with the cold.

The cold from those around him and life itself how it had wrapped its very veiny fingers around him like a witch with an apple.

It caused a massive feeling of hatred deep within Augustus to shine open as he opened the door fully.

He opened it and he saw the scene before him with his own eyes.

He saw the person he had once called father being choked by one of the shadow people

A memory that would be implanted in his mind forever.
