"Hmm? Xiaofan? What are you doing? It's so early."
On the other side of the phone, Liu Siyan's confused voice came through. From her words, it was clear she hadn't woken up yet.
"Where's Meng Ying? Is she with you?"

As the call ended, Liu Siyan's heart sank. Xiaofan wouldn't call without a reason, especially not early in the morning to ask them to go to Ren Ling's house. And taking Meng Ying along meant it must be related to something serious.
