If someone were to look at the altar, they would find that the entire altar is built from dark purple Blood Pattern Rocks. Despite being weathered by thousands of years, the eerie runes on the rock surface still emit a faint scarlet glow.
The surface of the stone platform is covered with intricate sacrificial patterns, where darkened, dried bloodstains remain in the grooves of the patterns. The air is filled with an unwavering stench of rot and blood, as if the wails of countless departed souls still echo at the bottom of the valley.
At the center of the altar's stone platform, there's a massive heart of a Blood Demon, slowly pulsing.
The heart stands about half a man's height, its surface layered with dark brown scales. From the gaps between the scales oozes a viscous, dark red liquid. The liquid drips onto the stone platform, flowing along the sacrificial patterns, and gathers into a circle of a red halo at the edge of the platform.
