The acidic blood corroded the entire battlefield, and even the Hunters had to retreat into the cabins. The sound of blood meeting metal sizzled in everyone's ears.
The leading Hunter took a deep breath, clenching his black Blade. Staring at the giant lotus that continued to spray blood, he muttered to himself, "He's in trouble."
The scarlet tendrils changed direction. Taking advantage of the pause created by the acidic blood, they started to sweep away the crawling little bug. Seeing this, the Hunter pondered for a moment and stepped into the blood rain.
Bologue drew closer to the core, and on this arduous path, he began to reflect. Now he was covered in wounds, some so deep they reached the bone. Though under the Blessing's protection, this would have been trivial for Bologue, now if he falls, he can't rejoin the battle until reality's fracture concludes.
