Outside, torrential rain poured down, and thunder roared.
Another flash of lightning struck, illuminating their faces for an instant.
They were all Ratmen, but upon closer observation, one would notice their ears were not sharp but round. However, their fur color seemed closer to that of the Sharp-eared Ratmen.
"I have already chosen the clan I want to join, what about you?"
One of the Round-eared Ratmen asked softly.
"I've chosen too. We should be able to obtain the intelligence we want by then."
"That's good. Everyone stay vigilant, make sure not to be discovered, and don't forget our mission."
This was a small and rare squad of Round-eared Ratmen among the Night Watchers, and few knew that such a team existed within their ranks.
