The Beastmen of this world are literally Beastmen, fundamentally different from the broad concept of Beastmen in the world Kana used to know.
They are not green-skinned, tusked races behaving like beasts, but races with animal traits, or simply upright beasts.
The culprit that allows this world to possess such a variety of races—the Stone of Creation, is the reason behind all non-human species.
The Beastman Empire can be said to be the last established among all racial nations.
The first nation, undoubtedly, was humans, because humans are the most primitive race in this world.
All other races came from humans changing through wishes, with a small portion arising from other creatures accidentally wishing for wisdom.
However, almost all mainstream races evolved from humans through wish transformation, so they can generally be classified as human subtypes.
Even though the upper echelons of these races understand this, no one would admit it.
