Lin Fan's single remark effectively shut Fan Xiaoxue up, after all, if she kept talking, who knows what other green tea nonsense she might spew.
Robinson was quite pleased to hear it: "Thank you, Mr. Lin, indeed, I really like Xiaoxue."
Fan Xiaoxue was just about to say some green tea words, expressing her admiration for Lin Fan and wanting to sit with him, but Lin Fan wasn't playing along.
But with Lin Fan cutting her off, she couldn't say that anymore.
With a quick shift, Fan Xiaoxue said, "Dear, I like you too, come sit down."
As she pulled Robinson down to sit, Fan Xiaoxue suddenly let out a sigh.
Curiously, Robinson asked, "Honey, what's wrong, why are you sighing all of a sudden?"
Fan Xiaoxue responded, "I really like you and wish you could be as outstanding as Little Fan; not to say you're not excellent, I just hope you can be better."
Upon hearing this, Robinson felt a bit awkward and forced a smile: "Mr. Lin is indeed very outstanding, more so than I am."
