Ever since he left Earth and set out for Sek Planet to wipe out that so‑called Fungal Alliance targeting Earth,
he hadn't really had any peaceful days, nor had he ever, like now, been able to fully sink his body and mind into the environment of Zhou Country, to feel it, to savor it.
On this long road of constant marching forward, it wasn't that there were no good views—beautiful scenery was everywhere, all over the place. The problem lay with him. He simply had no heart to appreciate it. He always had all sorts of things to do, so he was forever hurrying along, eyes straight ahead, heading directly toward his own goal.
He too hoped that once in a while, when he had some free time, he could be like that innkeeper on the little town on Erma Planet, leisurely basking in the afternoon sun, enjoying the drink in his hand and taking in the beautiful view before his eyes.
He didn't need much—just having that kind of moment a few times would be enough.
