Chadite, who was standing at the bow of the ship and using some instruments for calculations, suddenly felt a light touch on her shoulder. She waved her hand backward, and a rope of light, coalesced from a beam, shot out, binding an object and dragging it back.
"AAH! Let go of me!" Er, bound, struggled in the air, shouting.
"Planning to cause trouble again?" Chadite asked without even looking up.
"Absolutely not! I was just… just thinking of going to train a bit. Yes, just train a bit!" Er waved his fist, thought for a moment, and argued.
Chadite still didn't look up, continuing her calculations. She had long since internally labeled Er as a reflection of her younger self. She knew all too well what a handful she had been as a child, so she clearly understood what Er was up to every day.
