"Alka sent word; his side is already taken care of," Two said suddenly.
"That's good. Let's clean up the battlefield and head back to the ship," Chadite instructed his group.
Hidden in the shadows, the Puppet Girl began to clear the battlefield, simultaneously cleaning the blood off herself and searching the pirates' bodies for valuables. After the search, they began to wander around the island to avoid the spatial rifts that appeared at night. As for the dangerous beasts lurking in the darkness, they had long been drawn by the scent of blood from the battlefield. A new slaughter was about to begin, unseen.
When Chadite and the others returned to the Sound of Dawn, they discovered it was towing a somewhat dilapidated ship. However, its overall structure seemed to be fairly intact.
On deck, Alka had already returned.
"Was the operation smooth? Is anyone injured?" Alka asked as they boarded.
