The skeletons, being the most numerous, generally only possessed Second Stage strength; a considerable number were even at First Stage. It was entirely due to their sheer numbers that they caused so much trouble.
This wave of large-scale attacks nearly eliminated more than half of them.
Just then, an ordinary-looking undead within the horde made its move. Gray-black smoke, intertwined with dark-green vines, swept out, apparently aiming to shatter the source of the light ball. But the moment it attacked, the elderly woman, who had been waiting on the city wall, immediately aimed her Flower Wand at it.
Countless petals instantly converged, spiraling towards the foe. The petals sliced the attacking gray-black vines in half before assaulting the undead itself. This forced the enemy to halt its own attack and defend against the sudden onslaught.
