Staring at the crimson phenomenon in the sky known as the 'Red Calamity', Pei Yan smacked his lips and looked at Raphael, who was clutching his right hand, and sighed, "You never planned to escape alone from the start, did you? Were you preparing to take everyone with you to the grave?"
Raphael looked down at his frostbitten right hand and the insect fluid frozen into ice beads on the ground, then looked up at Pei Yan and sneered, "Didn't you just say that you don't care about the lives of the people in this town? Isn't that an exaggeration too!"
"I'm just doing my best. Why wouldn't I want to stop a tragedy if I could? After all, compared to you, I'm not a demon." Pei Yan grinned mockingly.
"A demon, you're even more deserving of that title than we are. I've been cautious all my life, and I don't want to end up like this because I underestimated you, underestimated the Foundation Plane."
Pei Yan stared at the defeated Raphael and asked, "Regret it?"
