Garfield pulled up the collar of his black sweater, silently giving her the finger.
"You Japanese just love to chatter, just like Oda Ehgo," Jiushijiu said disdainfully, turning and walking towards the elevator, his pink twin tails bobbing up and down.
"I'm an old man, you know, and old people tend to get a bit naggy... you'll get used to it," Oda Ehgo shook his head, speaking self-deprecatingly as he got up and walked towards the elevator.
Esther walked closer to the elevator, yawning, "Old man? Oda boy, when I was already a Catastrophe-level Superpower User, you might not even have been born yet, so don't call yourself 'old' in front of me."
"True enough."
Oda Ehgo didn't argue, simply crossed his arms and tucked them into the sleeves of his kimono, silently waiting for the elevator to descend.
This scene looked particularly bizarre to outsiders: a little girl in a gothic dress scolding an old man in a black kimono, yet the latter didn't argue back.
