"But nothing!" He growled so deeply the room vibrated. "You should've told me. Should've informed me of who the witch is."
"And if I had, you would have shut down the idea so fast. I'm sorry I didn't tell you beforehand, but we do not have the liberty of time. She's the best person for this, Alpha."
"I agree with Thessara, Your Majesty." Caelum piped up from where he stood. Of course he knew the woman—all three of them knew exactly who she was.
"You must look past your guilt and let this work, Thorne. Mara is good at her job. Let her do it," Thessara urged.
