The dorm's door lightly swung open. Claude poked his head in and saw Eugene sleeping on his bed… with Irving sleeping on the other half. The newcomer's eyes flickered for a few seconds before he walked inside.
It was only half-past four in the morning. Len went straight to sleep again as soon as his back hit the bed. As for Claude, he had plenty of sleep in the car. He just wanted to stay awake so he wouldn't doze off in class. Claude sat on the edge of his bed and stared at the two people on the neighboring bed.
He felt like he had gone through another lifetime. However, it was just a day and a half. Later, Monday classes would proceed as if nothing had ever happened.
"I forgot to ask Joshua and Ryan about the damages in the dorm building." Claude felt his pockets for his phone. However, he remembered not knowing where it was. He rubbed his neck. "Should I bother Len with getting a new phone for me? I doubt my allowance can cover one without an installment."
