From the other end, Ryan answered him: "If they're safe at the moment, leave them. I'll find someone to get them to leave and come here instead."
Claude made an acknowledging hum and pocketed his phone again. He knocked on the door once. "Stay inside and keep hiding."
He was about to leave, but just as he got up, he caught a gasp from one of the girls. The wolf looked through the window again, only catching a drone flying by the window leading outside. He only saw it because of the shadow it cast on the curtain.
"Ryan… they're using drones to check the higher floors," Claude spoke to his phone. Then he saw the drone pull away… only for a gunshot to echo from the outside. The window broke in an instant, and the girls screamed.
Claude quickly kicked the door down, just in time to slap a flash grenade back outside. The light exploded outside the window, but it didn't deter the operatives from breaking into the windows from the roof.
