If humans had the power to see the future, I'm sure a lot of disasters would never happen.
Mistakes would be avoided. Regrets erased before they even had the chance to exist. People would choose better—walk away sooner, speak less, or maybe say more when it actually mattered.
If I had known how this night would end, I would have done everything differently. I wouldn't have followed Casey. I wouldn't have pushed further.
Hell, I wouldn't even have shown up.
But that's the thing about life—it doesn't give you previews. No warnings. Just choices… and consequences that hit long after the moment has passed.
And sometimes, no matter how careful you think you are, you still walk straight into the one situation you should have avoided.
