Hamilton used the DRS advantage to overtake Verstappen in the DRS zone between T10 and T11.
Perhaps without DRS, Verstappen could still use his newly learned defensive tactics to hold off Hamilton behind him.
But once the DRS was opened, Verstappen, whose car was already damaged, really had no way to deal with Hamilton.
So, amidst the boos from the live audience, Hamilton completed his overtake of Verstappen.
At this point, there were only 5 laps left in the race.
And Qin Miao was 5.9 seconds behind Hamilton at this time.
Thanks to Verstappen's hold-up and the battle between the two, Qin Miao was able to quickly widen the gap between himself and Hamilton behind him.
Although Verstappen collided with Qin Miao, he truly repaid evil with good in this race, forcibly securing nearly a 6-second gap for Qin Miao on the track.
