Wushuang's emotions surged. She embraced Kaka tightly, fiercely reciprocating his kiss. It was as if this was the one and only time in this life, truly just this once. For some reason, tears welled up and spilled over, tracing down their lips.
Kaka opened his eyes slightly. His eyes, long accustomed to the darkness, saw two trails of clear tears on her face.
"Wushuang..." He released her gently, his chest aching. Wushuang smiled, as radiant as before. Those tears seemed meaningless to her. Kaka silently embraced her, his warm lips resting by her earlobe, then her neck.
