ROAR!
The deafening cry split the clouds as the colossal [Gedo Statue] shattered its restraints and erupted onto the battlefield.
Its maw opened wide chakra condensing into a titanic Tailed Beast Bomb before anyone could react.
It was an entrance worthy of a god or a nightmare.
All across the frontlines, the Shinobi Alliance froze. Faces paled. They had seen bijū before… but never one wearing all of their power at once.
Gaara, commanding from above, shouted through the comm channels,
"All units—fall back! Evacuate immediately!"
But even as the words left his mouth, doubt rippled through every soldier's heart.
Can we even run from this?
And then two more giants appeared.
Gyūki, the Eight-Tails, bellowed across the plains.
Opposite him, under Naruto's [Sage Mode] and [Nine-Tails Chakra Cloak], the spectral Kurama rose beside him as an incandescent titan of golden chakra.
Both monsters gathered orbs of compressed destruction.
Three spheres Eight-Tails', Nine-Tails', and Gedo's own flared like miniature suns.
The air screamed.
Then impact.
The world went white.
A wall of lightning and wind swallowed the land, thunder rolling like divine punishment.
Countless ninja were thrown like leaves; Naruto grimaced and spread his chakra cloak wide, fracturing it into hundreds of tendrils that shielded everyone nearby.
Even the Five Kage were forced into defense, barking orders for retreats and barrier formations.
This wasn't a battle anymore it was a cataclysm.
And amidst the chaos, one figure alone stood unmoved: Madara Uchiha.
Encased within his skeletal armor, laughter tore from his throat.
"Hahahaha! Now this is what I call excitement!"
Power poured through his undead veins, his chakra boiling to the surface.
The massive ribs of [Susanoo] expanded then solidified into its Perfect Form, the towering War God Susanoo whose blade could split mountains and moons alike.
"Let me remind you all," he thundered, "what true power looks like!"
A single chakra blade swung downward.
The sky split. The world went silent.
When he sheathed it again, the three colliding bombs cracked and detonated.
A mushroom cloud bloomed over the battlefield, tearing open the heavens.
In the distance, glowing blue domes flickered to lifenbarrier charms, distributed by Neji beforehand, activating all at once to protect survivors.
Elsewhere, one badly burned man laughed deliriously as he watched the explosion.
"Now this is art!"
Deidara.
Half-dead, mummified in bandages, yet grinning as though he'd witnessed godhood itself.
His voice cracked as he repeated the words over and over, eyes wild with reverence.
"Art… is an explosion! Hahahaha!"
As the dust settled, Gyūki reverted to Killer Bee, and Naruto dropped from Sage Mode, sweat dripping.
They had shielded what they could but holding back the storm had cost them dearly.
That was the tragedy of heroes: the need to protect always dulled the edge.
The villains, unburdened, fought without restraint.
Destruction was always easier than creation.
---
From the floating island above, Neji adjusted his jazz hat and exhaled, unamused.
He had shielded the sky fortress and sent Izumi safely back to the Wave Base.
Now, the scene below looked almost peaceful if one ignored the crater that replaced the horizon.
Then, a shadow.
A speck in the sky, falling faster than sound.
Every sensor ninja looked up. Even Obito's single eye twitched.
He suddenly felt his heart lurch. The [Gedo Statue], his creation, was moving on its own.
It reached up… and caught the falling shadow in its massive hand.
A broken horn.
Inside Bee's mind, Gyūki's voice cracked with panic.
"Bee that's my horn!"
"What!?"
Bee turned in horror. The [Gedo Statue] no, the Ten-Tails in the making was swallowing it.
Naruto noticed the shift instantly. "Bee! What's going on!?"
"That's… part of the Eight-Tails!" Bee shouted back, watching as the horn vanished down the statue's throat.
Naruto's face went pale.
"Then that means—there's only the Nine-Tails left…"
Inside his inner world, Kurama's voice rumbled low and grim.
"No… they don't need you anymore, Naruto. I can feel my chakra inside that thing. They've already collected it from another source."
Naruto's eyes widened. "They already have it!?"
Kurama nodded. "The collection's complete."
Bee watched the boy's face twist, mistaking fear for guilt.
"Yo, don't worry, man! We got this!"
But Naruto didn't reply. His eyes stayed fixed on the towering statue its shell cracking, its chakra rising, evolving.
---
Madara's grin faltered for the first time. His [Rinnegan] flashed as he glanced toward Obito.
The masked man landed beside his [Perfect Susanoo], his voice edged with unease.
"It broke my control. The statue—no, the beast—it's free."
Madara sneered. "Fool. You never controlled it to begin with."
He formed a seal—then froze, expression hardening. Even he couldn't rein it in.
His eyes narrowed. "...Where's Zetsu?"
Obito blinked. "He's with Danzo. Why? Isn't he—your will made flesh?"
Before either could react, the sky screamed.
A single figure dropped from the heavens as fast as a meteor.
Both Madara and Obito's eyes tracked the descent, their vision magnifying through divine pupils.
Their voices overlapped:
"Neji!?"
