The Crown Tundra's vast spiritual domain, after complete integration with the surrounding islands, spanned over seventy thousand square kilometers—making it the Pokémon League's largest controlled territory.

Metagross maintained stable flight through magnetic levitation, carrying Roy at impressive speeds. The powerful aura it projected was enough to deter most wild Pokémon from approaching.

Even in this highly competitive danger zone, only the strongest wild Pokémon could achieve professional-level status—typically those serving as regional Totems.

As for master-class strength, such power remained virtually exclusive to Pokémon that had survived for centuries.

The longer a wild Pokémon lived, the stronger it became—a rule that human researchers had thoroughly confirmed through extensive study.

At Metagross's steady pace, Roy reached the eastern ruins of the Crown Tundra after approximately one hour of travel.

The ruins occupied a spacious plain that official maps designated as an "absolutely forbidden" zone.

In previous years, numerous trainers had believed themselves "special" and attempted to form relationships with legendary Pokémon, but their encounters rarely ended well.

The legendary Pokémon that Roy had previously contacted had shown remarkable gentleness and friendship toward him, but only because he had earned their approval first. When dealing with unapproved individuals, legendary Pokémon typically followed their own life principles, which transcended human emotions, interests, and ethical considerations.

Even seemingly harmless legendaries like Mew possessed purely ruthless aspects to their nature.

Beyond their incredible strength, this particular temperament explained why legendary Pokémon were often called "gods."

"Those must be the ruins," Roy murmured, extending his aura to sense the structure at the plain's center.

Within the building, he detected two extremely powerful presences.

Roy chose not to rush forward, noting the complete absence of Pokémon activity throughout the surrounding area. He had no idea what defensive mechanisms might have been established here.

Being eliminated by automated defenses before even meeting the legendary residents would be thoroughly embarrassing.

First, he needed to attract their attention and encourage them to emerge voluntarily.

Roy recalled his team and summoned Ninetales instead.

Their eyes met briefly, and Ninetales immediately understood Roy's intentions. She closed her eyes in concentration, releasing the refined "Nevermeltice" energy she had developed during her time at the Tree of Beginning.

While her ice mastery hadn't yet reached Regice's legendary level, it had definitely achieved the "higher energy" classification standard.

The unique freezing energy spread continuously from Ninetales, gradually crystallizing everything in the immediate vicinity.

This distinctly familiar energy signature instantly awakened the two titans slumbering within the ruins.

"BEEP—!" A sound like thousands of birds chirping simultaneously erupted from the ruins' direction.

As the thunderous noise reached them, Roy suddenly realized that shadows had fallen across his position. Looking upward, he saw a Pokémon radiating intense golden electrical energy.

The creature's torso resembled an oversized light bulb, while metal coils similar to Tesla components adorned its arms and waist.

In the truest sense, it moved as fast as lightning itself.

Many people held common misconceptions about physics, incorrectly believing that lightning traveled at light speed. In reality, while electrical fields approached light speed, actual current possessed mass and faced spatial resistance, resulting in significantly slower velocities.

Nevertheless, even lightning's actual speed remained incredibly impressive.

Regieleki gazed down at Roy and Ninetales.

As their eyes met, information about the Electric-type titan filled Roy's mind. Regieleki's body consisted entirely of concentrated electrical energy, with voltage so intense that the electricity had crystallized into solid form.

It possessed the unique ability known as "Transistor."

BOOM!

Simultaneously, heavy footsteps echoed from behind Regieleki as another divine pillar appeared.

The newcomer's torso resembled a dark red sphere surrounded by what appeared to be a massive dragon skull. Upon closer inspection, the black skull actually formed its hands—the upper jaw, cranium, horns, and eye sockets comprised the right hand, while the lower jaw and teeth formed the left.

This was Regidrago, the Dragon-type titan.

Its entire body consisted of highly concentrated Dragon-type energy crystals.

Both titans had achieved perfect integration between their physical forms and elemental energies, truly earning their "legendary" classification.

"Hello there," Roy called out with a friendly wave.

The two divine pillars examined him carefully, surprised by the thick divine aura surrounding this human, then turned their attention to Ninetales' familiar power signature.

Soon, both titans' attitudes relaxed considerably.

"Don't worry about your friends," Roy smiled reassuringly. "They're following Mew and protecting the Tree of Beginning together. They're living comfortably and without concerns."

Of course, they didn't receive salaries, vacation time, or comprehensive benefits packages, but Roy decided not to mention those details.

Upon hearing that their fellow titans had survived the crisis of "world destruction," Regieleki and Regidrago nodded with obvious satisfaction.

As for their missing creator, Regigigas, neither seemed particularly worried.

This wasn't due to callous indifference, but rather confidence in their creator's capabilities.

Regigigas's strength could be measured by the fact that it had single-handedly created five legendary titan Pokémon. It was an extraordinarily powerful "god" in its own right.

"BZZT!" Regieleki produced electronic sounds while warmly inviting Roy to visit their ruins.

Roy mentally declined the offer, suspecting the titans' dwelling probably lacked basic furniture or comfort amenities.

Instead, he shook his head politely. "While I'm here to check on you and share news from your friends, I actually have a favor to ask."

Regigigas possessed a straightforward personality, and the titan Pokémon following its example shared similar honest traits.

After recognizing Roy as a "friend," they wouldn't mind providing assistance.

Both Regieleki and Regidrago nodded eagerly, indicating their willingness to help.

Roy retrieved a Poké Ball and summoned Electabuzz.

"Buzz!" Electabuzz understood what was about to happen and appeared visibly nervous.

"Regieleki," Roy began carefully, "I'd like you to channel your electrical power into Electabuzz's body to help it break through its current limitations."

Ordinary Electabuzz could evolve into Electivire simply by absorbing sufficient electrical power from an Electirizer during the evolution process.

However, Roy's "Mega Voltage" Electabuzz was far too unique for standard methods.

Regular electrical energy could never meet its specialized evolutionary requirements.

Only high-grade electrical energy would suffice.

The optimal choice would naturally be assistance from Zekrom, whose power shared the same origin. With the legendary dragon's help, Electabuzz would undoubtedly achieve perfect evolution.

Unfortunately, Roy had no knowledge of Zekrom's current location, and even if the legendary appeared, he couldn't predict its attitude toward Electabuzz—essentially a "thief" who had stolen divine power.

Besides Zekrom, the second-best option involved power from other Electric-type legendary Pokémon.

Failing that, assistance from Elite-level or master-level Electric-type specialists might prove adequate.

Roy naturally wanted to provide Electabuzz with the finest possible treatment.

Regieleki's "Transistor" ability represented exactly what he sought.

"BZZT!" Regieleki scanned Electabuzz's body with obvious surprise.

After stealing and absorbing divine power, this Electabuzz had actually developed immunity and survived the experience?

Incredible.

Even with legendary Pokémon's extensive experience, this phenomenon could only be described as extraordinary—a true anomaly.

"ZZT!" Regieleki provided its answer through action.

The Electric-type titan raised one crystalline hand and placed it gently on Electabuzz's head.

In the next instant, highly concentrated Transistor power flooded into Electabuzz's body.

"AAAAAAAHHHHH!" Electabuzz suddenly released an agonized scream, its face contorting with pain.

Roy's heart clenched with worry. Electabuzz, who had grown accustomed to various forms of pain, hadn't reacted so violently in years. Even when suffering injuries severe enough to threaten its life, it had never screamed like this.

This represented pain that surpassed every previous experience—agony that transcended even death itself.

Among all Electric-type legendary Pokémon, Regieleki's electrical power ranked second to none.

If Zekrom's mega-level voltage represented the ultimate lightning, then Regieleki's Transistor power fell only slightly below that pinnacle.

The two most powerful forms of electricity now clashed and intertwined within Electabuzz's body.

Just imagining the internal battle made Roy shudder. He gritted his teeth and watched Electabuzz intently, prepared to halt the process immediately if any signs of failure appeared. He would rather seek alternative evolution methods than risk his partner's life.

Perhaps sensing Roy's concerned thoughts, Electabuzz stopped screaming and turned to look at its trainer, forcing a determined smile despite the obvious pain.

Its expression seemed to declare: "I will never give up."

In the following moment, this steel-like determination appeared to attract some form of power. The mega-level voltage suddenly contracted, beginning to absorb and integrate Regieleki's Transistor energy.

FLASH!

Brilliant light erupted!

The evolutionary radiance surrounding Electabuzz, along with the energy fluctuations it generated, proved comparable to Mega Evolution in intensity.

Roy could confidently assert that this was the most dazzling evolutionary light he had ever witnessed.

The transformation energy continued building, creating an spectacular display that illuminated the entire plain as Electabuzz began its long-awaited evolution into something extraordinary.
