Lazarus was a laidback dude, but this did not mean that he was lazy or incompetent.
Rather, he simply preferred to live by his life motto, which could be roughly summarised as follows:
Minimal effort… maximal gain.
Indeed. One's Energy was a precious resource and commodity after all. Even with his legendary 'Laidback Lotus' technique, he still only had around 16 hrs of 'woke' time a day, which amounted to around 12 hrs of practical real-world time over the course of a daily routine, and so, it wasn't something that he felt should be recklessly wasted.
