"I'm back," Shizune called out as usual.

"Was the hospital busy today?" Tsunade asked, not turning her head and still watching the TV.

"About the same as usual," Shizune answered casually. Konoha's hospital was only full during wartime. Now, not too many people were needed. But Shizune had nothing to do at home, so going to the hospital was a way to pass the time. Even if she wasn't treating patients, she could teach the new medical ninjas. Her skill level was more than enough.

"I'll go cook," Shizune changed her shoes and went into the kitchen. The living room was once again filled only with the sound of the TV.

"I'll go see what we're having for dinner," Tsunade patted Sasame's hand and said.

"I'll go," Sasame immediately said. "It's not convenient for you now."

"What's not convenient?" Tsunade frowned. "I can run and jump now. There won't be any problems at all." This was not wrong. Even while pregnant, with her physique, it was true. Sasame was just being overly worried.

"Then you go," he said.

"That's more like it," Tsunade smiled and poked his forehead, then got up and went into the kitchen.

"Tsunade-sama?" Shizune heard the noise, subconsciously turned around, and upon seeing her, she quickly put down the knife in her hand and went to support her.

"Why are you acting the same as Sasame?" Tsunade pushed her hand away. "I'm pregnant, not paralyzed."

"Is there something you need, Tsunade-sama?" Shizune changed the subject in time.

"There is something," Tsunade met her gaze. "You're getting old now. Do you have someone you like?"

"Huh?" Shizune was stunned for a moment, not reacting. The question was quite sudden.

"Do you?" Tsunade asked again.

"No," Shizune suddenly thought of Sasame and shook her head in a fluster.

"Then why are you flustered?" Tsunade's face turned serious. "You're not good at lying." Shizune had been with her for so many years that she couldn't hide her thoughts.

"..." Hearing her words, Shizune became even more flustered, and a blush appeared on her face.

"Tell me, what are you thinking?" Tsunade's face softened into a smile.

"Nothing," Shizune was dazed for a moment. "I've never thought about getting married. I plan to stay by Tsunade-sama's side and learn for my whole life." In fact, this was true in the original work. Similar to Mei Terumī, she never married. Of course, given their status and strength, finding a partner was easy. It could only be said that they hadn't met the right person. This was especially true for Mei Terumī.

"Is that what you think?" Tsunade was slightly taken aback, a little regretful. "Then never mind. I was going to ask if you liked Sasame, maybe I could help."

"Sasame?" Shizune subconsciously said, "Wait."

Tsunade stopped, sighing inwardly. So it's true. But on second thought, it made perfect sense. The man she favored was just too charming.

Sasame waited in the living room for half an hour before Tsunade came out. He asked with a puzzled look, "Why did it take so long?"

"Chatting with Shizune," Tsunade sat down next to him. "Do you want to listen to a girls' chat?"

"No," Sasame held her hand. "I was just asking."

After dinner. Tsunade went to the study to read novels. If TV shows were her first form of entertainment, novels were her second. Her previous favorite pastimes, gambling and drinking, were temporarily out of the question.

Sasame took the opportunity to visit the Hyuga clan. He brought a late-night snack for Hinata Hyuga. After that, he went to the Land of Waves to pet a cat. This had become his daily routine.

Returning home, Sasame found Tsunade still reading, so he said, "I'm going to take a bath." In the past, they would have bathed together, but now they did it separately. As the saying goes, out of sight, out of mind.

Sasame entered the bathroom and turned on the water. A moment later, he heard the door open. Tsunade came in.

"Why are you..." Sasame's expression suddenly turned serious. "You're not Tsunade." Although he didn't have the Byakugan, with his strength, it was easy to see through a Transformation Jutsu.

Poof. Smoke rose. The Transformation Jutsu was released. It was Shizune. Without waiting for Sasame to ask, her face flushed red, and she charged at him as if on a death march.

Shizune finally understood why Tsunade was often physically exhausted.

A new day. Sasame prepared breakfast for the two women who had overslept, and then went to the Hokage's Office. To his surprise, two people were already waiting there: Kurenai Yuhi and Yakumo Kurama.

Sasame raised an eyebrow. Yakumo Kurama now gave him a rather gloomy feeling, as if she were Orochimaru. But the former was natural, while the latter was clearly not. Does this mean Ido, the monster created by Yakumo Kurama's kekkei genkai, has been born?

"Hokage-sama," Kurenai Yuhi spoke first. "Yakumo has been having some mental problems recently." She then described her abnormalities. Sasame nodded. This was clearly Ido at work. It was a pure Yin Release monster. Yin Release, with spiritual power as its source, easily gave rise to extreme emotions. The most classic example was the Uchiha clan. But they had eyes as a vessel, so it was controllable. Yakumo Kurama did not, so Ido became an evil monster. In the original work, it intended to mislead Yakumo Kurama and make her completely lose herself.

Sasame had previously planned to use his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan to enter her mental world and defeat Ido. But on second thought, it was a bit troublesome. He didn't have absolute confidence that after defeating Ido, he could make her control it. Therefore, he could only bring out his big villain, Kaguya Otsutsuki.

"Don't worry, I have a way to solve this," Sasame smiled at the two. "Sister Kurenai, you handle things for me today. I'm going to take Yakumo to see someone."

"No problem," Kurenai Yuhi replied immediately. She didn't ask who they were going to see. But she guessed it might be Tsunade.

He used the Flying Thunder God Jutsu. Sasame and Yakumo Kurama appeared in a room in the Land of Snow. He didn't go directly to see Kaguya Otsutsuki. It would be troublesome to explain.

"Yakumo, have a good sleep. When you wake up, you can be a normal ninja," he said. If anyone else had said this, Yakumo Kurama would definitely not have believed it. She would have suspected him of having ulterior motives. But Sasame was the Hokage. She nodded and lay down on the bed.

"I can't sleep," Yakumo Kurama said, a little excited at the thought of her body's problem being cured.

Sasame formed hand seals and gave her a little help. After her shallow breathing began, he opened the door and went to Kaguya Otsutsuki's room. But before he got there, she appeared in front of him. Without a word, she grabbed him and pulled him into her room.

"Wait," Sasame quickly put on the brakes. "I have something to do."

"What is it?" Kaguya Otsutsuki stopped, hugged him, and said expressionlessly. Although she had no expression, Sasame could clearly feel her emotions. He thought to himself that he had indeed left her here for a long time. If it had been before, Kaguya Otsutsuki had a steady income of chakra, so she wouldn't have had any ripples. But now she had a new hobby. Sometimes, she really did miss it.

"Come with me," Sasame let her hug him for a while, then took her hand and returned to the room. Kaguya Otsutsuki noticed Yakumo Kurama, and a slight ripple flashed in her eyes. She already understood what Sasame wanted her to do.

"What's my reward?" Kaguya Otsutsuki tilted her head and asked. Some things have only a first time and countless times. Once an opening was made, it couldn't be stopped. But Kaguya Otsutsuki didn't think she was wrong. Because this was a fair trade.

Sasame's face turned bitter. It was time to sell his labor again. He thought for a moment and tentatively held up one finger. Kaguya Otsutsuki's expression became very serious in thought. This kind of thing was so absurd. But for her, it wasn't. After all, it was the second most important thing after chakra.

A few seconds later, Kaguya Otsutsuki shook her head. She thought it was too little. Sasame held up two fingers. Kaguya Otsutsuki asked softly, "How do you want to handle it?" This was undoubtedly an agreement.

"Turn the monster inside her into a controllable stand for Yakumo Kurama," Sasame thought for a moment. Ido's performance in the original work was quite impressive. If Yakumo Kurama could perfectly control her, her abilities would be no less than an Uchiha clan member with the Mangekyō Sharingan. After all, a kekkei genkai that could turn illusion into reality was truly outrageous. But having a split personality was too much; Sasame was worried that Yakumo Kurama wouldn't be able to handle it. A stand would be just right. In a sense, it was a similar form to the Uchiha clan's Mangekyō Sharingan.

Kaguya Otsutsuki nodded slightly, grabbing Sasame's shoulder. The next moment, their vision shifted.

Sasame opened his eyes and arrived in a desolate, disorderly world. Only the surrounding paintings looked normal. And this proved that he was now in Yakumo Kurama's mental or genjutsu world.

"Such dense Yin Release power," Sasame said with emotion. The entire world was filled with powerful energy. Considering Yakumo Kurama's age, it was incredible. This level of cheating was almost on par with Sasuke Uchiha. Sasame could now understand why the Kurama clan declined. Being too strong breaks easily.

"How did you get in?" a young yet familiar voice asked. Yakumo Kurama. But unlike her physical body outside, her face was gloomy, and her entire being exuded a twisted aura.

"You don't need to worry about how we got in," Sasame narrowed his eyes. "Did you get her permission to use someone else's body?"

"This is my body!" Ido growled, and a chaos of emotions surged out. In an instant, they turned into a raging flame. But when they reached Kaguya Otsutsuki, they all disappeared. Ido's expression froze at the sight. What's happening?

Kaguya Otsutsuki didn't give her time to think. She swung her hand with force. Endless spiritual power, like a trembling sea, stirred up countless waves. The entire space was hit with destructive force. The paintings were also rapidly collapsing. Ido's face showed terror. Her image as Yakumo Kurama immediately vanished, turning into a hideous, white-haired, horned monster. This was her true form.

"Impossible!" Ido screamed unwillingly. "I won't die!" The voice disappeared. Her eyes changed from fierce to clear. Her entire being looked dazed, no longer having her previous sharpness. Her consciousness had been erased by Kaguya Otsutsuki, and she was now like a puppet.

She's a big villain indeed. She easily accomplished something others couldn't.

Sasame returned to the room. Yakumo Kurama was still sound asleep, showing no reaction or change. But her body would no longer be tormented by Ido. In other words, she could become a real ninja. And if all went well, she would be the strongest genjutsu ninja. Well, not counting the Uchiha clan. In the later stages, who would use genjutsu when they could summon giant mechas? In fact, even with them, it was possible for Yakumo Kurama to become the strongest genjutsu ninja.

Sasame already had a plan for her overly monstrous kekkei genkai. The first was to help Sasuke Uchiha awaken his Mangekyō. Once his dōjutsu power met the standard, he could give him a little stimulation. Sasame narrowed his eyes, and his thoughts drifted to Mikoto Uchiha. Perhaps he could do something else.

"Sasame," Kaguya Otsutsuki reached out and stroked his face. "Is there anything else?"

"No," Sasame knew what she wanted to do and didn't refuse. Yakumo Kurama wouldn't wake up for a few hours. With Kaguya Otsutsuki's ability to control time, they could spend several days together.

[Due to your actions, the fates of Yakumo Kurama and Ido have changed. You have gained one hundred points of Destiny Value.]

After Sasame came out of the Amenominaka, he heard the prompt from the Destiny Halo. He ignored it and looked at the now-awake Yakumo Kurama. Her face was full of excitement. She had clearly noticed the difference in her body. Compared to her previous weak state, she was now exceptionally normal. For her, being normal was a huge surprise.

"Hokage-sama!" Yakumo Kurama quickly got out of bed, bowed deeply, and said gratefully, "Thank you!"

"No need to thank me," Sasame said quite directly. "Your kekkei genkai is very useful, so work hard to become stronger and contribute to Konoha Village."

"Yes!" Yakumo Kurama replied without hesitation.

He used the Flying Thunder God Jutsu. The two of them returned to the Hokage's Office.

"How did it go?" Kurenai Yuhi immediately looked up and asked.

"Teacher, I'm completely cured!" Yakumo Kurama showed a cheerful smile. This was completely different from her previous self. Kurenai Yuhi immediately breathed a sigh of relief. She herself was a genjutsu ninja. After meeting Yakumo Kurama, she had taken her as a student, someone she could pass on her skills to. After all, she was now the Hokage's secretary. It was unlikely she would have a second student. If she had a child in the future, that would be a different story. But that was unlikely to happen anytime soon.

Kurenai Yuhi glanced at Sasame, then quickly lowered her head and said, "Yakumo, I'll take you back first." After the two left, Sasame leaned back in the Hokage's chair, a hint of fatigue on his face. The battles with Kaguya Otsutsuki were always so perilous. But he had also made progress. He could now launch a powerful counterattack. Before, Kaguya Otsutsuki always maintained a cool, aloof demeanor. But now, she was not so graceful; she would lose her composure.

The arrival of winter meant the New Year Festival. The ninja world's celebrations were basically copied from Japan, so it was the most lively festival of the year. In the past, Sasame would go out and wander around with Tsunade. This year, he couldn't. Tsunade was pregnant and wasn't suitable for walking around.

In the Hokage's Office. A knock on the door. Kakashi Hatake and his three students came in: Gaara, Kankuro, and Temari.

"Hokage-sama, these are the missions our squad has completed recently," Kakashi Hatake said after greeting him, and took out a scroll.

"Just say what you need," Sasame glanced at it and smiled. The current Konoha didn't need him to review mission reports anymore.

"The three of them would like to request two weeks of leave to return to Sunagakure," Kakashi Hatake still had his dead-fish eyes. But the three behind him, especially Kankuro and Temari, all had looks of anticipation and anxiety on their faces.

"You can," Sasame didn't think for too long and agreed.

"Thank you, Hokage-sama!" Kankuro and Temari immediately shouted excitedly. Only Gaara was relatively calm. For him, there was nothing worth caring about back home.

After dismissing the four, Sasame suddenly thought of the Akatsuki. He had been a member for a while but had never had a mission. It wasn't because Nagato had forgotten about him, but because he was too busy. After getting the two billion, he had a lot to do and temporarily left Sasame alone.

The New Year Festival arrived. Sasame also started to get busy. It wasn't about decorating Konoha Village or anything; there were dedicated people for that. He was busy because he had to go to several places: Uzumaki Ena, Kaguya Otsutsuki, Mikoto Uchiha, Mei Terumī, and then Tsunade.
