Drake initially had no intention of letting anyone else fight Acnologia. If Mavis hadn't appeared, Drake would have joined everyone in using Fairy Sphere himself.

But with Mavis appearing, Drake naturally had other ideas.

He wanted to see Acnologia with his own eyes, not just to test his strength but also to vent his hatred and anger.

Of course, Drake wasn't going to die. He had prepared the magic power to activate World Travel at any time. So after sensing Fairy Sphere being activated, Drake used World Magic to leave the Fairy Tail world.

No matter how strong Acnologia was, Drake didn't believe he could cross worlds to hunt him down.

Drake was initially worried that he would be in danger in another world while seriously injured, but he hadn't expected it to be a slice-of-life world without extraordinary abilities.

The whole world seemed to exist solely for the male and female leads to show off their love. So Drake returned to the Fairy Tail world after his magic power had been replenished.

Returning to the guild, Drake told everyone about the situation of the main force and dealt with a few small fries who had come to cause trouble while the guild's main force was away.

Then Drake was really busy for a while, doing a large number of missions to maintain the guild's reputation.

Tired to death, Drake realized that this wouldn't work, and he had to quickly recruit enough fighting power to solve the guild's current predicament.

Then Drake thought of those excellent mages who appeared seven years later in the original story.

Drake took action, using his memory and the information he had collected to start searching for these future powerful mages.

First were the Twin Dragons of Sabertooth, Sting and Rogue. They had been Drake's underlings four hundred years ago, and their memories hadn't been affected much, still remembering Drake's existence.

So Drake directly abducted them.

The next person Drake had his eye on was the Sky God Slayer, Sherria Blendy.

She was the close friend who formed the Sky Sisters with Wendy, and who later gave up her only specialized magic to help Wendy. Drake naturally wouldn't let them be separated in two different guilds.

The difficult thing was that Sherria was the cousin of Sherry Blendy, a mage of Lamia Scale. But it was seven years ago, and Sherria was still a child. So Drake took the initiative and pulled her into Fairy Tail.

The last person Drake brought into the guild was Kagura Mikazuchi.

Speaking of which, meeting Kagura was an accident. Drake met Kagura, who was training in swordsmanship, while doing a mission.

Kagura insisted on calling him master after seeing Drake's martial arts, so he became one of Fairy Tail's current mainstays.

These people weren't as mature as they would be seven years later, but they were full of potential and had a certain amount of strength.

Soon, everything at Fairy Tail returned to normal, and Drake could focus on increasing his own strength.

So he traveled to another world again.

But Drake seriously suspected that his successful horizontal jumping in front of Acnologia had used up all his luck! The condition of this world wasn't good.

He could vaguely see the outlines of modern skyscrapers around him.

However, those dilapidated buildings were covered with a layer of something that looked like congealed blood.

Even the sky was filled with red mist, a truly apocalyptic scene.

Drake really thought he had come to that doomsday world, especially since he hadn't seen any humans along the way, only some twisted and deformed monsters.

These monsters were bizarre. Some still looked like animals or humans, but others were completely alien.

However, the same thing about them was the glowing grid-like pattern on their bodies.

Drake felt that they looked familiar, wondering if they were from some doomsday-themed work he had seen.

Speaking of which, these monsters were irrational but could chase after Drake and attack, which really gave off a Resident Evil vibe.

However, Drake could sense that these monsters were actually special energy aggregates and probably weren't products of technology.

Even so, this world had no value to Drake.

Drake didn't have a system that would allow him to level up by killing monsters, and fighting these monsters had no benefits.

Drake punched the head of an ape-like monster, and the surging flames incinerated it to ashes.

Drake didn't want to pay attention to these monsters, but they seemed to have locked onto Drake, continuously appearing before him.

About two or three days had passed since he had traveled here, and Drake had lost count of how many monsters he had cleared.

If this world was really so dilapidated, Drake would have to consider whether to travel to another world.

Boom! Boom! Boom...!

A series of loud noises came, as if some enormous being was moving this way.

Drake looked in the direction where the dust was rising, and indeed he saw a giant humanoid monster walking over, making horror movie sound effect-like laughter as it moved.

Drake raised an eyebrow, noticing that this monster was different from the ones he had encountered before.

Although the proportions of this monster's limbs weren't normal, it was clearly closer to a human form. And the grid pattern on its abdomen was green, while the patterns on the monsters he had encountered before were all yellow.

But at Drake's level, he looked at things not just at their appearance, but at their more essential nature.

The power within this monster's body was similar to the previous ones, but it had opposite characteristics.

Drake revealed an interested expression. Finally, something different had appeared. If this world was really unchanging, Drake would have left.

The giant monster made a chilling laugh, punching at Drake.

The punch shattered the ground, raising a large amount of dust. But Drake had already jumped up, dodging the attack and arriving before the monster.

"As expected, it's just as irrational!"

After confirming that there was no way to communicate, Drake had no interest in tangling with this monster.

"Fire Dragon's Wing Attack!"

Drake landed back on the ground, waving his hand to disperse the flames wrapped around his arm. That giant monster had turned into a huge ball of fire, turning to ashes in the blink of an eye.

Drake didn't move, just saying coldly, "You've been hiding long enough. Come out!"

Clapping his hands, a person covered in a cloak walked over.

"What amazing power! It's the first time I've seen it."

Drake frowned. Whether it was the voice or the size, this cloaked person seemed very young, at most eleven or twelve years old.

But the aura on this person made Drake wary.

The cloaked person raised his head, revealing a childish face.

It was indeed a face that could only be called a child's, but that face had a smile that felt fake, and one eye was covered by an eyepatch.

Perhaps sensing Drake's wariness, he said, "Don't be so cold! I came here specifically to make friends!"

Drake curled his lip, saying, "Stop lying. The malice on you is overflowing!"

Unexpectedly, his smile became even more twisted after hearing Drake's words.

"As expected, you're special! I almost forgot to introduce myself. My name is Yuto Ijika. Let's get along!"
