But with Mavis appearing, Drake naturally had other ideas.
He wanted to see Acnologia with his own eyes, not just to test his strength but also to vent his hatred and anger.
Of course, Drake wasn't going to die. He had prepared the magic power to activate World Travel at any time. So after sensing Fairy Sphere being activated, Drake used World Magic to leave the Fairy Tail world.
