Sophie was relieved when she received a message from Lillian, indicating she was fine.
Realizing how the police had flooded the place, Sophie shut down the screen of her laptop and stretched her arms. She hoped that Noah would be locked up behind the bar for life.
Hearing the door of the internet cafe open, Sophie raised her head to look over. There was Jasper entering, holding a large cardboard box in his hand. Sophie rushed on her feet towards him and placed her hand beneath the box, providing him help.
"Hello, Beauty." A smile placed on her face when she tilted her head to look at Jasper.
Jasper narrowed his eyes on her. "What are you doing here?"
He raised the box higher to shift the weight off of her, walking towards the room at the back. Sophie followed him, her hands swinging behind her.
"Just was helping Lillian with something," Sophie answered. "The internet connection here is good. I will have to keep coming here."
