It is a rather cool morning, with Kohayuki walking through the train station. She is currently taking a sip out of the straw of a sealed plastic cup containing some sort of milk tea beverage. The train station is quite busy actually, she watches as a horde of business men and women hurriedly walk around holding tickets in their hands, while students of all sorts of grade levels huddle around chatting, or chatting as they walk.
I thought school ended by now, huh, what day is it today?
She took out her phone with her free hand, and checked what the day is, and it reads as Wednesday, October 2nd.
Oh, I think I was thinking of the Rieamaian school system.. Oops, but seriously what the hell? Why do the Western countries get random breaks, like the "The 108th Hanoverian Prime Minister's 603rd Birthday," so the whole week is work and school free because it's a national holiday.
She proceeds to wander about the train station, as if she is searching for someone. In fact, around a week before, the Satoya Gang decided to do some sort of group hangout sessions before everyone goes to university. She herself is still to this day, completely in awe of how she got accepted into one of the 4 "Lesser Prestige" Universities, which are 4 universities that are nearly prestigious enough to be part of the "The Prestigious 4" Universities of the world. Luckily for her the university she is heading to is actually in Maehwa, surprisingly not too far from home.
She made her way to the ticket machines, however she realized, how is she supposed to know where to go when her friends didn't even plan out where to go? All she read in the group chat was "yo lets meet up at the train station near us," with 4 thumbs up emojis replying to it.
These useless bi— Oh right! I'll just text Rayna to ask her where to go.
Once again she takes her phone out to open her messages, she begins texting her question regarding tickets and also where the hell they are, and as she was taking a sip out of her milk tea, she hears a group of young women point her out in a very.. How would one describe it, irritating?
"Oh my, my! Is that Kohayuki Itose~!"
The instant she hears it, she chokes on the milk tea, coughing awkwardly into her elbow, she then starts turning away from the presumably approaching group of young women to hide the fact she is flustered out of pure embarrassment.
She clears her throat and wipes her lips with the back of her hand, then looks to find herself almost surrounded by 4 young women who seem to be quite happy to see her.
"How was your summer? Did you and your little group of friends do anything fun? It was Satoya's 19th birthday, right? Tell him I wish him a late happy birthday~"
One of them says teasingly, her name is Touko Kudou. She knows who they all are, which are her friends from high school. She did stick around with them in her last year of high school however she was mainly with the Satoya Gang. But the one thing she is currently focusing on, is well.
Since when did they know Satoya's birthday? What? That dude is the most introverted person I have ever known, or at least before he became a Truth Seeker.
"I will, uh, tell him that." She replies before continuing to text Rayna.
Another young woman begins to try to peek at who Kohayuki was texting, only for her to be not entirely surprised. "Oh you're texting Rayna, seriously that rich girl? Didn't she transfer to our high school in the 3rd year?"
"Oh Chiemi you're right! How did she manage to get better grades than half the people in the class though? She must be spoiled rotten and tutored rigorously! Too bad we never spoke to her though, she was too busy being with, well, Kohayuki and those other guys." Touko spoke, then a different young woman asked a question that intrigued Kohayuki. The one asking the question is Erisa Goshima.
"U-uhmm, do you know what happened between Satoya and Setsuyane?"
Kohayuki raises an eyebrow, proceeding to casually take a sip from her milk tea. She quickly answers the question with one word while the straw is in her mouth.
"Who?"
Kohayuki knew she was lying, however this sort of topic is something she considers something that doesn't sit right with her head.
"Y-you know.. Setsu–" Kohayuki quickly interrupts Erisa's sentence.
"I know. It's a ignorance is bliss typa thing you know."
"B-but–"
"I won't talk about it, sooo get lost now, I had fun talking with you all but some things aren't meant to be answered." Kohayuki says in a direct tone. She then gestures to them to basically get lost, in which they had no other choice but to leave.
Despite this, Kohayuki continues to sip away at her milk tea. She stares as they walk away, with one of the young women commenting how she didn't get the chance to talk at all, with the others blaming Erisa for asking something Kohayuki clearly didn't want to answer. Eventually she lost sight of them, and checked her phone again to see if she got a reply.

Kohayuki Itose: Where are we heading? I'm trying to get my ticket.
Rayna Carelaia: Did Satoya not tell you?
Kohayuki Itose: No?
Rayna Carelaia: God damn it, alright we are heading to Matsuda.
So with that she got herself a ticket and started spending another countless minutes wandering around, and around again and finally found the Satoya Gang sitting on a bench outside. Satoya is essentially napping as his head was cocked against the wall, while Rayna is looking over at the distance trying to see the train for when it arrives, and Johnathan was just walking back and forth. Edward is standing around, mostly talking to Isaac before he notices Kohayuki approaching.
"You're like 10 minutes late, how did you not know where we are heading?" Edward asked somewhat annoyed about Kohayuki being considered late.
"What? Satoya didn't tell me anything about where we are going."
"No, but even with that you had the time to get milk tea so that means you could have had the time to ask one of us where we are going." Edward said glaring at the milk tea with disdain.
Kohayuki then notices Isaac quietly reaching for the plastic cup, so in response she offers it to him, and before Isaac takes the drink she quickly takes it away. "I bought this with my own money and I also drank half of it."
"Platform 2, a train going to Matsuda will arrive shortly"
They then hear the sound of a train arriving in the distance.
